Marv & Ben is an intimate and seemingly popular restaurant in the heart of Copenhagen. The menu is modern and fresh and you choose from two to five courses and there is a wine set menu to go with it. Quality is good and the service is decent. Overall a good dining experience.

I had 18 hours in copenhagan before leaving for the states and one meal to enjoy. Marv & Ben accommodated for our large group and we chose to go with the chef's 5 course menu. I ordered one bottle of red for the table and it paired very well with each of the dishes. I wish I had ordered another... More

The restaurant offers a casual yet romantic atmosphere. The Service staff was not pretentious and very non-intruding, which we felt was a good thing. We took the 5 course meal, enjoyed each wine that came with each course and had a really nice evening. Food was very good, portions just right. Would go there again.

Great service and we all had a lovely evening besides the fact that there was a couple of divas with us. Am experience worth a recall!

Friendly service, beautifully presented food in unpretentious setting but their mediocre food quality leaves the entire experience a lot to be desired. We had a 3 course dinner with associated 3-course wine and a bottle of water. Our dinner came at a bill of 1400Kr, which is not expensive by Copenhagen standard; their food is cheap but their wines are... More

We had the 5 dish chef's choice menu incl. wine, added the cheese platter with the chef' swine recommendation and ended the evening with coffee, chocolates and at the suggestion of the waiter a glass of Mescal... And it was all good. The dishes were all modern without bring pretentious and each wine was matched perfectly to the dishes. The... More

Like so many contemporary "culinary experiences". OK food served in minute portions dressed with lots of bread, theatre and filibuster to distract you from what just happened ... oh and wine prices to cure alcoholism! Noma has much to answer for ...

Well, maybe they fixed something, but unlike the previous reviewer, we were given menus in English and had good service throughout our meal. Food was outstanding. We especially enjoyed the bread, a yeasty, chewy and delightful treat. Portions were just right and desserts were innovative. We really enjoyed this restaurant.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The staff has been extremely rude and aggressive, the menu is only available in Danish and they could not be bothered explaining what was on offer in English. Would not recommend it to any tourist or local.

We shared all the plates on the menu and the quality of the food was great. The setting is very informal and relaxed. Highly recommended. Service is ok. Too slow for me however I appreciated the exausive explanation they made for all plates served.
