We were four having a dinner after a very good theater show, and it turned out that the experience at Marv & Ben made it a memorable night out. My parents, wife and I spent the evening here for my birthday and what a fantastic time we had. The service, food and drink is of an international standard, which food aside is unusual for Copenhagen. I can't recommend this more highly and have been to "better " venues on paper, where the food, personal service and wine/food matching is... More

the small "mistakes" they did when serving us the pre-ordered three course menu I would have given them the fourth star. But have to say that our dinner experience was quite ordinary - nothing that I will remember as good. The starter was hake, cucumber, horseradish & dill - my kids (16 and 14 years old) and I loved it.... More

As part of a long weekend in Copenhagen we decided to take a friend out for a late birthday treat at Marv & Ben (Marrow and Bone). We plumped for the tasting menu (5 course) that comes with a different wine with each course. It is not cheap but we all agreed that it was a really good meal, and... More

If you have the chance to get a table you should try this restaurant. Food is really surprising. Staff is great. And the whole experience is kind of unique even if a bit strange. Don't miss to look through the kitchen window how the staff prepares the food. Menu has only a few options... And wine menu is pretty interesting.

We had a lovely meal in this restaurant last Saturday night. The staff could not have been more helpful or informative. We were a group of 7 and had a small room to ourselves which was lovely. We were offered a tasting menu if we wished or any combination of the existing menu. The food was delicious and we all... More

This place was recommended to us by local colleagues as a modern Danish kitchen. So, if it is a tradition Danish food, I am definitely NOT a fan of Danish cuisine...

We visited this restaurant as a large group of 33, and I suspect the restaurant has little experience with so large groups. And that they do not like large groups. We had preordered food, and most of the group had chosen a three course dinner. As starter the whole group had the course called Old traditions (pickled Cod, celery, coriander... More

We had a 3 course meal + the 3 glass wine package. The scallops were very exciting, a good balance of flavours and textures. The citrus "burned" in our mouths throughout the meal. The main course was duck hearts. A full-flavoured dish, and tasted great, but could have had another element to it to make it just as exciting as... More
