Loved this cafe

We happened upon this whilst walking through the Latin Quarter one morning. We hadn't had breakfast so wanted a coffee and croissant or some such. From the outside the fascia looked a bit chain-like but when we looked in through the windows then we knew this was different. Books and food is a... read more

Sitting between old books and dining is a wonderful experience. It's just like we have seen it before in the Christiansborg Slot where the library serves as well for the right ambient for official dinners or lunches of the Prime Minister or the Queen. But here it is more alive. We had Burger and Lasagne and both were perfect. The... More

This cafe is filled with old books all over the wall. Imagine you have lunch or dinner in an old library! Such a good experience to try. I spent few hours here for lunch and read almost every month. :) Lovely place to meet with friends as well...

THe cafe sprawls over 3 levels with a Library theme throughout, there are tables on the pavement outside also. The food was first class and the portion sizes very generous, the Ceaser salad was excellent and the roasted potatoes are a must. The drinks offering is varied with three draught beers available when we visited.

This café is on several levels, and you are surrounded by books on bookcases. The choice of food was very good, and there was a menu in English. Service was friendly and fast. The portion sizes were large, particularly the omelette, and it was all very tasty. We would happily come here again.

It is just great with reasonable price. Not far from the round tower. You need to go to the till to order drinks or meals, and they will take the food to your table. The place is cool, the staffs are friendly and food is delicious. The only thing I don't really like is the toilet. It's a bit dirty.

I ate there twice, and haven't been disappointed ! The food is nice, tasty and not expensive at all (compared to the Danish expensive standards). You won't really find traditional Danish food, but everything on the menu is good !

We easy found the cafe by walking a little trough Kopenhagen- for me it's the best address to have breakfast brunch or lunch. Fabulous food and an amazing homemade ice tea!!!!!
