We went for brunch at Paludan. The brunch is very good and big! The place is great, with several sitting rooms and huge bookshelves packed with old books. Student crowd mostly, and laid back atmosphere. We arrived quite early (saturday 10am) which was great because the line got quite long later.

It took us about 10 minutes to find a table in this busy yet relaxed place. A lot of students reside here just taking up tables reading books or working so not the best place if you want a more formal lunch/dinner setting. However, once a table is found it is a great place for lunch where you queue up... More

Great brunch, not high price: eggs, fruit, pancakes, cheese... About 100kr for a brunch plate. Location very cosy, like a small library. It's always packed at weekends. There is also a vegetarian brunch. Burgers are very good as well!

This restaurant has everything you could need: cozy atmosphere, decent prices, and huge portions. Their baked potatoes are delicious if you're looking for something affordable and delicious. If you visit in the morning, I recommend the Paludan brunch. For 99kr you basically get everything you could ever imagine in the perfect brunch (and there's a vegetarian option as well). Never... I stumbled into this café and love it. It is across the street from the Copenhagen University Library and feels like a library extension. I had two early dinners here; the food (fresh salmon, salad, beer, and dessert) is great. There is an informal line to order and the food is brought to your table. It is apparently a popular... More

The first thing I thought of when I saw this place was "this could be straight out of Harry Potter!". It has a wonderful vibe - relaxed, cosy and warm.. but being situated in an old antique-style bookstore gives it a wonderful ambience. They provide excellent coffee and the house special breakfast is a veritable feast that contains everything one... More

My wife and I popped in for a coffee and something light to eat and were really taken by how comfortable and interesting the place is. The coffee was great and food tasty and very reasonably priced. It's so popular that the queue at the bar was really long but worth the wait.

Food was really good- great vibe here near the University. Service was friendly and fairly quick given how busy it was. Excellent value for money. Previously had the brunch here which was excellent.

We found this restaurant close to the university by coincident when wandering through the city. It looked interesting from the outside and we weren't disappointed: The several small rooms with books and tables you can enjoy your food or cup of coffee in a great atmosphere. Of course some people also use it for studying. You need to order at... More
