Excellent food, big portions nice environment

Visited here after reading the trip advisor reviews. Worth a walk over, seems to be popular with locals and not too busy. Food was excellent as was the coffee. I have the goats cheese and beef burger - it's big, tasty and comes with sides. Could see this being a regular hang out to read, drink... read more

I had come here to buy books, some years ago, so it was an unusual experience to see it transformed into a combined cafe and bookshop. It seems popular with the younger generation for coffee and drinks, while surrounded by books. There is still a portion of the shop dedicated solely for books. We had a drink or two while... More

We just had drinks here. The bitter lemon was very nice. We sat outdoors which was nice to watch people pass by. The interior was stylishly decorated. If I was a local I'd happily stop in for coffee regularly.

The brunch here was delicious. The atmosphere was great (a mixture of a coffee shop and a library). Definitely more of a younger university crowd.

An old bookstore still wood panelled and lined with two floors of books. In the Latin Quarter quiet area just off the busy pedestrian only street. Good food at reasonable (for Copenhagen) prices. Great place to have a coffee and read or do Internet. Don't wait to be served, you order at the counter and the meal will be brought.... More

We had a very good dinner the first evening of our trip to Copenhagen, the beef was tasty, the atmosphere with books all around was great, and we had live music with a very nice singer.

Awesome burger or goat cheese salad, delicious prawns, amazing cheesecake. Vibrant place. Your order at the counter. Bring your student card to get cheaper beer. Perfect place for dinner with friends or fast meal. Not really romantic or business dinner kind of place.

The location is good, the food is good, the price is even better and the staff is friendly - but the best thing about this place is the vibe! The vibe is laid-back and cosy. Having a cup of coffee, chatting with a friend or date or dining among books a great experience. This is one of my favorite places... More

Was told about this place and glad about it too, very reasonably priced by Copenhagen standards. Good portion cooked well the thick roasted wedges are a meal on there own. It can be a bit hectic and the tables aren't cleaned as often as they could be but hey ho its budget.
