We had dinner there as we arrived in Copenhagen. The location and decoration are nice, but the manager is not very friendly. The waiter that served us that night was however friendly, efficient and nice. The food is very expensive and quantities are almost not sufficient. The salmon plate was certainly pepared in advance, and the desserts looked industrial :... More

It was an Easter weekend, full sunshine and first warmth. So of course there was tons of turists out in CPH looking for a place to eat. Since the restaurant is located in the picturous Nyhavn one can only imagine the hords of hungry people - hungry for good fish as well as time in the sun. It took us... More

We needed somewhere in a hurry to give our kids dinner and picked the sea food restaurant Havfruen. The menu is slightly strange in that there are only 3 main courses. We picked starters (fish and chips, mussels and chips) which were decent enough portions The food was good though the service a little slow. The restaurant is dated and... More

The strangest entrecôte I've ever had; it was a quite pricey meal and when the plate was brought to the table I thought it was pork instead of beef. The shape of the meat was more similar to a pork steak than any entrecôte I've ever seen in my life. For that price, not worth it.

Had breakfast. Barely passable. I would go to sit outside and have a beer. Location is great. Server was attentive and pleasant.

Very nice place to spend a morning at, with beautiful outer space, nice staff, and - of course - OYSTES! In Copenhagen, where you can easily eat seafood as much as you want (and of course you want), oysters are not so hard to find. We spent here a beautiful morning, ate 6 of oysters, drank a glass of champagne,... More

Visited here today. To be honest the food is only average- the position is the attraction, situated on the canal at Nyhaven. I had fish and chips and my wife, mussels. Whilst it purports to be a fish restaurant it caters mainly for tourists. The service is fine and the value reasonable but it faces stiff competition from the restaurants... More

We came in to taste oysters late on a lazy morning. The place is one of the many on the Nyhavn with a very cozy and nice outside display. You cant make a mistake here with oysters and champagne and what made the place special for us was one of the waiters who realised we spoke Hungarian so he came... More
