In the cosy and romantic decorated rooms and on the pleasant terrace of Copenhagen's most beautiful square, Graabroedretorv, is an Italian restaurant named Amalfi. Copenhagen's most romantic restaurant. The menu is inspired by Italian country cuisine with a touch of Scandinavian and French nuances, and is presented on a new, exciting and modern way. The quality level is high and it is important to us that guests get a great experience home with them and feel they have been at the center. Each season comes new dishes on the menu to suit the season. Every month, our chef puts together two special 4 course meals for dkk 299, - Amalfi Restaurant offers both brunch, lunch and dinner.

Not that great

First time i visted Amalfi for dinner both the service and food was fantastic. This time I visited with some friends for lunch and the experience was not the same. Most of us ordered the lunch burger with extra potatoes. The burger itself was nothing special and the amount of potatoes your get (and... read more

I was in Danmark for holidays, I come here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The meal was fantastic, good service, welcoming staff. Thanks for holidays, Amalfi.

Attractive setting in a quiet square. Delicious pizza and quite reasonable house red wine. Nice candlelit atmosphere. All other food we saw looked good too.

I ordered the ravioli with pesto and parma ham for lunch. I had no complaints with the quality of the food. The sauce was lovely, the ravioli tasted home-made, and it was perfectly cooked and attractively presented. The portion was rather small, especially considering the price. Service was rather cool. I'm not sure what the problem was with the service.... More

Italian food, quite good but not excellent. Price is ok. It was first time I had a lobster and I wasn't thrilled at all. Ravioli were good, main dish was ok, dessert was good although not really Italian (Crème brûlée). Service was not too great, but we were a big group of ca15 persons - 2 of guest didn't get... More

Good, If the service was better. - I have never been presented to a menu as I did here. When the waiter handed out the menus to all 6 of us, he did´t really talk to us, also when he wanted to present the 2-3 special deals they have ( In which was pretty good offers, I have to say... More

We stopped by spontaneously since the terrace looked nice and cozy. We thought it looked romantic to sit outside, and it was. However, when the food arrived, I immediately regretted not doing my homework and finding a better restaurant. This place is VERY overpriced for what you get. The ravioli with pesto came with about 4 ravioli, and they were... More

Sure, it serves pizza, but not in a form any self-respecting Italian would serve, or anyone who has enjoyed good pizza before would enjoy. The locarion is it's best asset, next to a square, with lots of inviting tables outside. Sadly, the only thing which lived up to expectation was the bill. We should have left as soon as we'd... Good wine, lovely pasta, super soup. Fun service, heaters and rugs for outside dining. I did not pay the bill so cannot judge on value.

Don't be fooled by the low prices. You get even less than you're paying for. I just revisited this place in July to be certain that the first time wasn't a one time occurence. Sadly it wasn't. The service was lousy to say the least with a wait of more than 40 minutes from the order was placed to the... More
