I was so pleased to discover this lovely little cafe, right next to my hotel and just by the main railway station; I was even happier to discover later that it is rated as the number 1 restaurant in Copenhagen here on TA! Its not a big place but this is more than compensated for by the superb owner/hosts, who... More

Brilliant place! Delicious food, soup was soo yummy and a huge sandwich! we had to share between two of us. Lovely atmosphere, great music in the background, super service! If I lived in Copenhagen I would have lunch there every day! Only down side there isn't to many tables to sit, probably more in the summer as it would be... More

Really good the soup with potatoes and leek, but the big difference between a good and a recommended place is the customer care. And here you have it. They offered us a small sparkly drink along with the soups, some bacon to put on the soups and asked twice if everything was ok, even if the place was really crowded.... More

We highly recommend this place , we had been for breakfast . The sandwich we had with a fresh orange juice was super tasty&light , simply delicious . The customer service is awesome , pretty much all you need , charger for mobile , tips for your holiday , heater under the table . The doctor Thompson is not in.

I walked here from my Hotel. It's tiny and don't expect to find a place to sit, but I knew I was taking the food to go. I was expecting a line out of the door but there wasn't one. The gentleman asked me if I preferred to converse in English and I gratefully said yes. I ordered the Salmon... More

Its not just the food that is fantastic its the service, many thanks for the useful hints. The guys make you feel so welcome and love what they do and it shows in their sandwiches. Hope you both had a lovely time in Budapest.

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighborhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
