Awesome

Visited here in the morning to get some breakfast. The staff was really polite, and the food was great! Ordered a soup and a bread, they didn't take more than 5min to be ready. Also got a chance to taste their lemonade, it was good too :) the restaurant itself is really small, really few places to... read more

I stopped in for lunch during a day out sightseeing and I'm really pleased that I did. I received a warm welcome from the friendly staff and then tucked into a delicious bowl of spiced chicken soup and bread. The home-made muffins looked great so I had one of those too! They also have a load of phone chargers available... More

We popped into this superb cafe to grab a take out sandwich on our way to the airport. The owner gave us a complimentary ginger warming drink and a taster of freshly squeezed orange juice. Whilst we were waiting. Our food was freshly made and wrapped skilfully for our journey. One chicken bacon and salad and one smoked salmon cream... More

We stopped for a quick bite and a hot drink the other day. Had the chicken/cashew/ mango sandwich and chicken/bacon/avocado - absolutely fantastic! Owner made a little sandwich for our little girl on the house - bread/butter and cucumber - exactly what she likes! Fantastic drinks, also tried the aronia and berry smoothie - excellent! Keep up the good work... More

VERY kind personnel and very good food. A bit expensive, but in comparison with the rest of Denmark it isn't. The restaurant is quite small, so there isn't a lot of space to sit, but it seems most locals just come and take their meal with them. Fast service and, as I already said, very friendly personnel. We received a... More

In CPH for the first time on business, and well worth the 7 minute walk from the office on Radhuspladsen to get the tomato soup, and half a chicken, bacon & avocado sandwich. I'm certain to be back in CPH in future...this will probably be my lunch haunt!

Arrived there around 15:45, and the cafe would be closed at 4pm. Thus I just ordered a Tomato Soup and a Hot Chocolate to go. The tomato soup was creamy and tasty. I really love the hot chocolate, it is rich, yet not too sweet. Plus the owner was nice and friendly. Worth to try.

The sandwiches are actually really good. It's weird that there is no vegetarian option on the chart, but they are happy to make a nice vegetarian sandwich anyway. Soups are (often/always?) vegetarian too. The place is tiny and well hidden behind metro construction site. This is gentrification at work, at it's best.

If and when you find yourself in Copenhagen, head towards the Central Railway Station and continue on until you arrive at Halmtorvet 1. You will be warmly greeted and then you get to decide among the various sandwiches, soups, salads, and beverages. There a couple of seating spots inside and a few outside. Morten and Claus created a terrific atmosphere... More
