Traveled to Copenhagen for a business meeting and arrived on April 6, 2014. On Monday evening the 7th, had a business dinner at the Cap Horn at Nyhavn. Short wait for a table for 3 inside but worth the wait. Excellent drinks and appetizers. Had the Plaice fish with asparagus. Nicely prepared and delicious. Excellent atmosphere for business or family... More

Dropped in here without a reservation on a Friday evening and despite the place being pretty full a table was found for us. The waiting staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The steak I ordered was quite possibly the best I have had in a long time. You barely needed to use a knife. A bottle of champagne was by... More

The ambiance is cosy, the service friendly. The food was below average. The choice of food is very limited. Having chosen a fish, we were deluded to see that it was over cooked and tasteless. A colleague chose pasta and it was OK but certainly not at the level of the price required. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

My wife has the uncanny ability to be able to walk by a restaurant or cafe and peek in the window and read the menu and is able to determine if its a good place to eat or not. This was one of her picks and it was soooooo good that we ended up going back 3 times for dinner.... More

Went there with my girlfriend. The place has beer garden out on the street where you can get a nice view of Nyhavn. We decided to get a table inside though, since it was windy and a bit chilly. The inside is real nice with old and bit worn and yet nice decoration. The menu had only six or so... More

Nice place on Nyhavn with lovely outdoor seating available, that brews their own beer. I stopped here for lunch and had the chicken salad while my wife had the langostino soup. As with most places in Copenhagen, its expensive (about 80 - 100USD for lunch) but the people watching is great, the service if excellent, the beer is good and... More

We, a group of 18 meeting participants had dinner in the restaurant Cap Horn. The service was friendly, the environment was extremely nice and the restaurant was cosy. The only thing that I was disappointed was the food. We had fish-roe as the starter. The "caviar" was fresh, but not an experience. Neither was the main course, lamb with asparagus.... More

Had two meals here whilst we were spending a few days in Copenhagen. Lunch on our first day, we chose to eat outside because of the quayside location on Nyhavn, perhaps a little optimistic given the chill wind, but blankets provided by the restaurant kept the worst at bay. Food was so good we decided to return a couple of... More

We visited Cap Horn for lunch with the family. Food was excellent and service was also very good. Had a window seat and watched the world go by. Would highly recommend.

Nice food, but a bit of waiting time. Live music right beside us, so it was kinda hard to have a normal conversation. The music was nice though..
