Great beer. Great food. Great service.

Cap Horn is a great place in Nyhavn to sit and have a drink and some local cuisine. Very uplifting to relax and watch the boats and tourists rush by. We greatly enjoyed our drinks and the food looked very tasty. Comparable to al fresco dining in Spain. Recommended.

Restaurant Cap Horn in Nyhavn serves the guest with a good choice of superbly cooked dishes. Went there for dinner with my English family from London twice on a 4 day visit. Each time some of us had as a starter Gespacio soup which was devine. The last night we all finished with the desert: Rød grød med fløde, which... More

We went here with a group of colleagues from abroad to enjoy one of the typical Copenhagen tourist attractions being Nyhavn. The location is nice, staff is friendly, but the taste of the food is really nothing special. With the whole group together we've had pretty much all dishes on the menu and we all agreed that the flavors are... More

A perfect Saturday lunchtime spent here, friendly staff and lovely views of Nyhavn, especially in the lovely sunshine we were blessed with last weekend. Their own brewed beer is quite tasty, although a little heavy for my particular tastes. I will definitely be back!

Very friendly smiling service by young Danish staff which is very rare nowadays as most service jobs are occupied by immigrants. fantastic view. Nice interior but the best is to sit on the terrace outside in front of the tiny harbour. They have blankets and heating lamps. Fresh prepared food. Try the Plaice.

The staff here is great! They are genuinely friendly without fake smiles and do their uttermost best to give you a pleasant dinner. There was no problems to "change" courses in the set 3courses menu and they came frequently to ask if everything was ok and if anything was wanted. The restaurant was packed and people stood waiting on the... More

Visited with friends for dinner. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Our waitress Frida really did her best to make our visit enjoyable. The food was well prepared and met our (high) expectations. Can recommend!

Hidden between Newhavn's many tourist traps, this is the place your stomach is looking for! Smiling staff, fabulous food(The Gazpacho is a must), splendid interior design: that's the stuff 5 star rated restaurants are made of. You may want to reserve though, every evening the Cap Horn is packed inside and out.

We were enjoying the atmosphere at Nyhavn and decided to stop for supper at Cap Horn. Not a great idea. Looks great, staff beautifully turned out and very friendly and efficient. Unfortunately the kitchen does not match up. My husband had dish of the day (not very inspired fried salmon, potatoes etc swimming in butter) and I went for vegetarian... More

Great location and ambience, but fails in the execution. Food delivered undercooked - took forever to get it replaced. Service was good but slow. We were a party of ten indoors - somehow they "lost" the order for three of us. They offered a free beverage in compensation.
