Fish Plate Local style

I was searching for a light meal for late lunch, I wandered through Nyhavn in Copenhagen and stumbled upon this cozy little restaurant. It has strong reference to maritime theme and looks old and a bit worn (in a good way). The staff very truly excellent and served with a big friendly smile. I... read more

This place was on a the beautiful street on Nyhavn. We popped in for lunch and it was busy and we waited at the bar for a few mins for a table. I went for a hummer (burger) which was delicious and my girlfriend went for the lunch option which was a variety of chicken, prawn and a hot pate... More

Quite liked this place. Probably good for a one time visit though if your just touring Copenhagen on a city break. The picture we added is of the menu. My wife ate fish wish a butter based sauce which was delicious and I had a pasta covered in just pesto which was standard. Service was great.

We had a lovely meal, very friendly waiter. We both had the dish of the day, salmon, then we had a cheese plate, and a Creme Brulee. All very tasty, very cosy? By the open fire.

We tried several of the restaurants on the water in Nyhavn during our 2014 trip and all were tourist traps. We found ourselves staying one night in Copenhagen in 2015, headed to Nyhavn, and tried Cap Horn. It was really good, and reasonably priced. I had the flat fish and my wife had the salmon salad. Both were good. Even... More

Great evening meal, served by friendly staff. Some tables a bit cramped but it didn't spoil the atmosphere. Food was good and reasonably priced

We visited Copenhagen recently, and we had dinner in this place. there are other restaurants and cafés along the canal, but in this one the attention was very good, and the food was delicious. If you go to Copenhagen, you will absolutely visit the Nyhavn street along the canal, as far as this is one of the most visited locations... More

I had my first of the year dinner in this warm and nice gastro pub located in Nyhavn. Service is a five stars one. Environment very nice and excellent organic food. We had the dish of the day that was a oven baked cod with vegetables and potatoes side dish. Very good also the Creme brule desert and the acquavite.... More
