The last evening of our holiday in Denmark, we wanted to try the best restaurant in Aarhus and we certainly found it in Miro. It also happened to be conveniently within walking distance from our hotel, the Radisson Blu. Miro's owner is a delightful man, who takes great pride in his fine restaurant and enjoys combining excellent wines with his... More

If you are looking for a gourmet experience to spice up your stay in Aarhus, book a table at Miro, a few hundred yards from the bustling café- and restaurant district along the Aarhus Stream. My wife and I have dined there a couple of times, and have never been disappointed. The menu is short and efficient: 7 courses to... More

Our company attended a celebratory dinner at Miro which exceeded our expectations. Toni came personally to our table for most of the courses and explained the various aspects and nuances of the food and wine. In fact, I enjoyed the wine so much that I bought 2 bottles of Pinot Noir and 4 bottles of Moscatel de la Marina to... More

The food was excellent, but also very expensive. We sort of felt that we were not some of the most welcome guests, maybe because we asked about the prices and went for some of the less expensive wines and dishes. But, if you have money to spend, you will get a great meal here.

I cant fault any of the 8 courses we were served at Miro ( 7 course dinner plus a caviar starter ) as all the food was tasteful and beautifully presented. The wine menu was very good as well and the restaurant boasts a very impressive selection of aperitif and ( especially ) digestif!! The level of service was however... More

Miro is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to, and the best in its genre. When you go there don't forget to get the wine, which has been carefully selected for every dish and complements it. For my wedding proposal I booked a table at Miro, and the choice was excellent, everything was perfect.

Rather expensive, but an unforgettable experience, where the individual dishes have been carefully created to perfectly compliment the amazing wines that accompany them.

This was truly one of the best meals I ever had in a restaurant. Chef Tony was also their greeting and explaining. The prefix meal with multiple courses was to die for. My personal favorite was muscles soup and also the steak (see pictures). Also, have a gluten allergy, and the Chef accommodated. Thank you, Chef Tony!

Hate to use the old cliché in restaurant review, but Miro is a gem in Aarhus! Located in an unassuming corner in the city center is one of Denmark's best restaurant. The food is complex, experiential and creative. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service is professional. The wine menu is thoughtfully considered and not only complemented the food but... More

Place is rather food laboratory than restaurant - they are really creative but I feel that is an art for an art - no heart. All the flavours are compicated but good - maybe excluding rabarrbar desert which is simply not good. Service is very nice, helpful and proud of working there but You have an impression that they will... More
