We had lunch at this place today, it was a very nice athmosphere, the food was good and the prices okay. At this place its also possible to buy special goods, home maked cakes, 2.hand clothes, pictures etc.

We were looking for somewhere authentically Danish for breakfast rather than the chains and found Penny Lane. A cosy and relaxed cafe with an excellent selection of pastries, cereals, teas and coffees.

Good delicious salads, the cafe well situated in the city centre but a bit too noisy and too little room between the tables

My sister and I have been here several times before and often it's very packed. Therefore we were so happily surprised when we visited during the carnival and could get realle great seats. We brought my 2 year old daughter who enjoyed a babycino and we had such a "hyggelig" time. Also they do soya milk at no extra cost.... More

Friendly and cosy place for a very different lunch experience. Having walked all around Aalborg and not been tempted by Macdonalds, Burger King or the numerous bars I was relieved to find Penny Lane. A large metal tea pot with 4 or 5 cups of tea to wash down an impressive salad platter with masses of amazing pork loin, preserved... More

We loved this place. Quaint, quirky and utterly enchanting, this is the best spot we found in a long weekend in Aalborg. The menu is an interesting mix of light but wholesome fresh food, with a very distinctive Danish theme...bread! This place is full of the aromas of beautiful breads and excellent coffee. The food is quite exceptional and the... More

I have been there 3~4 times. Sheep cheese and ham sandwich is the best for me. although I feel I bit heavy afterwards but I wouldn't mind to go once in a while. I also tried humus sandwich but I prefer my sheep cheese and ham. great atmosphere but be ready to stand and wait a while to be able... More

This is my go-to place in Aalborg if I really want to get good quality bread and cakes. The baked goods cost a bit more than at other bakeries, but they are totally worth it. The cafe serves different types of sandwiches, brunch, salads and select tapas plates. If you are not form Denmark (and even if you are) you have... More

This cafe in Aalborg is really amazing. Smiling and serviceminded staff, great food and I love the rustic interiour and unformal atmosphere. A great place to eat lunch and have a cup of coffee. Also, try the bakery - it's mouth watering just to talk about it. I will visit Penny Lane every time I visit Aalborg!
