Best place in town!

If you are in Odense, you have to do yourself the favour and visit Gertruds! Great atmosphere. Amazing food. Outstanding service. And they make a mean Gin&Tonic!

Visited Gertruds several times over the years and I am never disappointed. Owner Mark and his team do there very best to ensure guests have the perfect dining and socialising experience. Menu is updated regularly and offers the diner a wide choice of fresh food. Owner Mark is often on hand to explain dishes and advise a choice of wine... More

Thanks Mark and Malene for a fabulous night on Jan 16th. Compliments to the chef and staff, the food, wine and service were second to none, best steak we’ve eaten in a long time! If you’re in Odense, then this is the place to eat, whether lunch, a quiet evening meal or a special occasion.

Have gone here a couple of times for a drinking dessert and its great. Friendly and helpful staff, great offers of beer and wines, and the own mixing of drinks makes it personal and nice. A must visit during a night out!

I have been recently in Gertrude in Odense, Denmark and the food was great. It was not my first time there and this place was always a nice place to be for a coffee and a burger.. until two days ago! What they prepared was simply fantastic and it was a great surprise to me to taste this great cooking.... More

This french-inspired place has many times been the place for a meal, a bear or just a chat over a caffe latte. The place is popular with the locals and some times it can be hard to get a table.

We came here for nice dinner, but we are disappointed. The waitress asked if she should serve all the main dish together. First she dropped a dirty tissue from an other table on our bread basket. Then, a long time after my starter she served the main dish. Perhaps she miss calculated the time for cooking pasta, because it was... More

Nothing more to add. I had a burger, it was good. Managed to sit outside in the sun. Wine was very good had the syrah. Service was a bit slow, and I was starving which slowed it more in my mind. Food was good for the price. Nothing extraordinary but had certain details that were suprising even with simple small... More

Came back for lunch after a year and continue to like the place. Had a business lunch - club sandwich. Food and service quality both very good. Nice ambiance. Did not have enough time - would have loved to stay longer. Will definitely visit again if in the area.
