Very nice, not pretentional, family owned restaurant. You can start from visiting kitchen and choosing your meal from display. We have been there twice, always everything tasted very good. And we tried 3 kinds of delicious local fish, amazing lamb and various hot starters. In the eveńing you can enjoy sunset observing small port and after dinner have lovely walk on... More

We came here for lunch by default, as our two previous choices were closed. We should have heeded the negative comments on Tripadvisor. Unfortunately, the owner appears disinterested in casual visitors and surveys the scene from the kitchen steps with a complacent air. The head waiter is monosyllabic and unsmiling...... The food is simple, but adequate taverna fare and the... More

Low season so not many options. Swam in beautiful bay below this café so naturally we had a beer and ate here. Grumpy owner waiter wasn't going to ruin this gorgeous day and gorgeous location. I just kindly kept pushing him and found I got exactly the perfect seafood lunch of octopus, eggplant and cold beer. Very happy customer and... More

This quaint, sea-side taverna has outstanding sunset views. We enjoyed the local dishes (grilled octopus, fresh fish, greek salad) and house wine while watching the water taxis circle the island and the old men gather after dinner to share their stories and enjoy the quiet conversations at the end of the day. You can't think of a better place to... More

So the view from this restaurant it is breathtaking. so you decide to sit here. Two people ordered squid salad and ouzo and we paid a small fortune! it is a pitty to manipulate the location of the restaurant like this! and the service was really average! really not recommended

The restaurant has a lovely setting, so it promised much. We were put off by the disinterested attitude of the man who served us and the very average food. We had no inclination to return during our stay on lovely Hydra.

This place wins on location but the staff seem tired and disinterested. But having got some service the drinks were nicely chilled. The espresso was ok.

After spending a week on Hydra Island exploring the area near to our rented accommodation in Four Corners, we discovered Kamini Harbour, a gorgeous and unspoilt area that we hope to stay in next time we come to Hydra. May is a fantastic time to go as the weather is pleasant and this taverna wasn't too busy on our last... More

We arrived to this taverna after a leisurely stroll to the little fishing village next to Hydra Town. Charmed by its loftly location and lured by the bhuddha bar-esque music we opted to stop for a drink. However the attitude of the waiter was in stark contrast to the friendliness that we had encountered in all the other restaurants and... More

Called in for a light lunch as the setting was really pretty . sat down and ordered some white wine. It arrived but was spoiled by not being chilled. The waiter then disappeared with no offer to show us a menu. We had to call him back and he seemed surprised that we wanted food. The menu seemed really good... More
