The food was excellent and home made in the traditional greek stele. We hope to come back one day. A couple from Romania.

We were on a cruise boat and stopped with our friends to eat some authentic Greek food. What a great choice we made, the owner personally waited on us, his name was George. My husband ordered fresh squeezed orange juice and it was the best he ever had. We noticed oranges growing on the streets surronding the city too!! We... More

Excellent choice for a relaxing meal after walking around in ancient Olympia. Nice terrace, excellent service, fresh, home made cooking. Try the traditional Greek foods (dolmades, saganaki, taramosalata, etc.) Very good value for the money.

The waiter recommended the home made soup and it was excellent. He looked after us very well. The restaurant is easy to find and is a great place to go after visiting the site of Olympia.

We specifically found this place and ate here after I read reviews on trip advisor. when first approaching the restaurant the owner made it a point to repeatedly tell us that everything is hand made from scratch. While i appreciate that (and that's one reason that I chose this place), at first it seemed a bit harsh and he very... More

We had a great dinner here. Really tasteful local food, with delicate spices. Lovely , big salad, 1 serving for 2 persons is enough. Pleasant service by the waiter, who reacted perfectly after a minor mistake. Absolutely recommendable. Sympathetic prices.

This restaurant is in the heart of Nea Olympia, with an outside terrace, where we could have dinner in the beginning of October. The white housewine was really good, 2 items in the menu could not be delivered, because they could not be freshly prepared (lamb) or were disencouraged (zucchini with minced meat, not the right season). In the end... More

While researching travel sites for our trip to the Peloponnese, Aegean Restaurant kept coming up as an interesting restaurant to experience. It is family run for 30 years and the owner George Georgiadis looked after us and had such pride in telling us about the different dishes they could prepare for us. We ordered a café of barrel Rose which... More

we went there twice (dinner and lunch). First meal was briam - vegetable stew - really delicious, I highly recommend it. My partner couldn't get his first choice meat, as it had already been finished, so he took grilled veal which was OK but nothing special. For starters we had stuffed vine leaves, they were OK (we don't like rice... More
