I found myself staying the night at Olympia, meaning that my dining options were severely limited to what I would expect to be mainly the local tourist traps, so checked Tripadvisor to see if there was hope to find something decent. There are 12 restaurants rated on Trip Advisor in Olympia, at the time of writing Aegean was rated 2... More

Owner very proud of his food and with good cause. Excellent tzatziki and zucchini balls. Mixed grill of souvlaki and kebab was superb. Can't go wrong at this restaurant.

This is a lovely restaurant serving delicious home made seasonal food and with a warm and welcoming owner. In April Olympia is quiet so we were able to spend two evenings here. I suspect in the high season this restaurant will be very busy. And deservedly so as the food and service were excellent.

We ate here twice (which we never do), because having stumbled upon it the first night we couldn't find anything we liked the look of more, even after a proper explore. We were early in the season, so the one criticism would be that it was lacking atmosphere, because of insufficient customers. But the food was authentic, excellent and not... More

Stopped off here for a meal on our first night in Olympia and the service and food were so great we came back the next night (which I wouldn't usually do on holidays as I prefer trying new places). Stathis was very friendly and passionate about his homemade food and it really was delicious. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I've had two meals here and both times it has been great food, authentic, fresh and extremely tasty. Service is friendly and kind. Stathis went out of his way to help me get a usb charger, best service around!

After visiting the ancient ruins we walked to the main street in Olympia and stopped at this restaurant and what a great experience. We did not know what to order so George Georgiadis gave us lots of ideas. Since there were five of us we ordered form his recommendations and all shared each others dishes as well as several appetizers.... More

Stopped in at the Aegean for a late dinner. Or early dinner if your on Greek time. The food was fantastic. Everything was freshly prepared with only the best ingredients. The service impeccable. The owner spent a good amount of time talking with us. Made us feel at home. And gave us the best dessert on the house. Five stars.... More

If you find yourself wandering the streets of Ancient Olympia, looking for a place to have delicious, homemade, authentic Greek food, then the Aegean is the place to go. I stopped in at the Aegean last week with a few people from a tour group, and the food was absolutely delicious. The owner was very nice and friendly, and explained... More

The "Aegean" is a restaurant with class. Why: the food is home made. Every plate has the delicious flavour of preparation with love. Even the smalles dish, if you don't feel like a big dinner, will be served with taste. The ingrediences are all - I mean: all - fresh. Taste their filled wineleaves and you know wht I am... More
