The restaurant is mostly for tourists, close to the main street in Olympia, but it has good service and the best homemade mousaka we have tried so far.

We had a great dinner at Aegean Restaurant in Olympia. They had a great menu and wine selection. The ruins and Museum at Olympia were great, and to finish up with. Great meal here made it just right. They made a pizza special for my daughter who is a picky eater, and the Greek food for us was locally obtained.... More

As native Greeks, it is rare to find authentic, house made fare with the same quality and richness in flavors as we would cook at home. The Aegean superseded our expectations in not only it's delicious cuisine, but in the impeccable service we received from the entire staff.

It's the middle of July and Olympia is empty. Very very very few tourists. So, what would a suicidal restaurateur do? Post a menu outside the restaurant with masking tape on the prices. Then, charge 4.5 Euros for a dozen kalamata olives. And 9.50 Euros for ten fried anchovies. Zatziki, another 5 Euros. And charge for bread (per person) and... More

We went to Aegean for dinner and it was absolutely one of the best meal we had in Greece. We ordered zucchini rolls and grilled fish. The meal was absolutely wonderful. If you are in olympia and decide to have dinner, the Aegean should be on top on your list.

After reading all the reviews on tripadvisor about this restaurant we decided to give it a go and were not disappointed at all. We have been travelling around the Peloponnese the last week and have also been on another island for 2 weeks and this would absolutely be the best meal we have had. The food was perfectly cooked and... More

We were recommended by our private tour guide (Andreas) and this place did not disappoint. We had the greek salad, saganaki and souvlaki as well as the spanokopita, and agree it was the best food we had in Greece. They servied fresh watermelon for dessert. Delicious, home made and affordable. We ate outside and had excellent service. Best lunch on... More

The zucchini rolls were melt in your mouth delicious. Never had anything quite like them. Was nervous about ordering moussaka after a disappointing experience of one that was heavy on potatoes. He promised no potatoes and I'm so glad, the bechamel sauce was another melt in your mouth experience. Love eggplant, wish I could make it so delicious. The owner... More

In early June there were few tourists staying at Olympia, and the restaurants were quite desperate for customers. At the Aegean we were promised a first-class Greek meal, and we were not disappointed. Between us, my wife and I had tzatziki, zucchini rolls, moussaka, meat balls with tomato sauce (highly recommended!) and lettuce salad. Fruit in honey and cinnamon followed... More

This was one of our first restaurant meals on our trip and it was fabulous. Service was very good and the food was wonderful. Ate outdoors under a tree and watched the sites.
