The place is famous for its tsoureki (it is a kind of brioche). There is a big variety (plain, covered whith milk or white chocolate) and with different stuffings. But it is too sweet for my taste and a bit overpriced. I have tasted the profiterol too and it is just average. In my opinion there are better pastry shops... More

Terkenlis cafe in Mitropoleos sq is a great place to sit relax and enjoy their fantastic sweets all made there in front of you fresh. I believe that prices for eat in sweets can be much more cheeper.

These people, these recipes, this taste, this is so good. Everytime I visit this city, a terkenlis tsoureki is always in my bag to take back home.

Delicious products, fresh and a "must" if you visit Thessaloniki. Definitely try its Easter bread (even when it's not Easter :D) with chestnut! You can buy this at the airport as well. ;)

Nice and attractive sweet things, but one Trigona is enough for those who are not sweet lovers. It tastes like Turkish sweet Sobiyet with a vanilla cream in. It is located at the very center but the sales people don't speak English

Every time I come to Thessaloniki I buy multiple tsoureki kastano!! I love it with the white glaze. Amazing. I wish we had Terkenlis in Melbourne. Upon returning home I salivate over the tsoureki kastano until my next visit to Thessaloniki. A must try!!
