Sweet taste of Thessaloniki

My opinion for all visiters of Thessaloniki is that they must get a traditional trigono from Ellenidis. Its a traditional sweet of our city and are filled with delicious vanilla cream. Ihave no other words to say. All visitors must taste a trigono.

The ELENIDIS trigona are a tradition for anyone coming to Thessaloniki. They are cooked triangular pastry cones which are brown and crispy, and are filled while you wait with sweet custand cream! There are usually two sizes, large and small. To eat there or take away. Absolutely delicious!

It is a traditional sweet, synonymous with Thessaloniki city. The triangular shape is composed of handmade dough sheet, dipped in syrup. The inside of the triangle is filled with thick vanilla cream. The combination is delicious without being very sweet, naturally "trigono" contains more ingredients that only manufacturers would know. It's a must during your visit to Thessaloniki and appropriate... More

Elenidis (historically) provides the best "trigono" dessert. Take away, enjoy at home and you won't be able to forget it. The best ever!

It is a pity. This family created these desserts and they became famous for it. Now internal strife among the succesors has left this franchise weak. New competitors have come up with better alternatives and better recipes. I grew up with this company but now i let others sate my desire for sweets
