Excellent but pricey food - not for a casual everyday lunch

We stopped by Agni Taverna after spending a long day touring the north of Corfu. We were famished and everything on the menu looked good! We loved it here -- we were collected by boat from nearby Nissaki and dropped back again after our dinner -- the service and atmosphere were lovely. It's not cheap, but it is special.

This was our third trip here and I have to say we weren't massively impressed. As we had friends with us who hadn't been before we felt like we had to go but I'm pretty sure we won't bother again. From getting off the boat it just didn't feel that special which is what I think the Taverna strives for.yes... More

A brilliant, traditional beachfront taverna in the village of Agni ,about 20 minutes walk from the Nissaki Beach hotel.you can even take a water taxi there and back from the hotel.Food and drink excellent. You can even get a free booklet on the taverna s history written by the owner.

This Taverna right on the waters edge on a tiny cove just South of Kalami is a gem. In the course of a week we had lunch there three times and each was first class. Very fresh fish, creative and very fresh salads and a great selection of starters to create your own perfect Meze. Service always friendly and helpful,... More

We were here 6 years ago and loved it. Always a bit of a worry going back, but, if anything, it was even better. Here for lunch... king prawn saganaki and drunken mussels with fries.... both delicious. The staff are delightful and the location cannot be bettered. Already looking forward to the next time.

Idyllic setting but more importantly food interesting and delicious. The service was excellent - couldn't fault it. We would definitely return.

We visited this restauraunt on the last night of a week in Corfu, having heard that prices were higher than a lot of other tavernas we decided to save it til last. We caught the boat service from Ag Stefanos which was very easy and great fun. When we arrived at the restaurant we were seated at the water's edge... More
