We visited Sakis restaurant on the recommendation of some people in our hotel. We stayed at the Acrothea Hotel (separate review), which is owned and run by the same family as Sakis restaurant. Although we had been to Parga several times below, we had never seen this restaurant, it is at the top near the castle and probably the only... More

Sakis taverna is fabulous, the food you get for the price you pay is unbelievable. Always busy but you get a free Ouzo while you wait and Dimitris and Vangelis always know who is where in the queue. Very traditional Greek cuisine in a traditional Greek street. The stuffed mushrooms on the special are amazing. Andy & Anne (Yorkshire)

No wonder there is always a queue to get a table at this fab little restaurant. Food and drink are fabulous and the service is great! Worth a wait (usually softened by the offer of a freeby ouzo!) and you'll be amazed at how little you pay for such a great meal. Enjoy!

We ate at Sakis last night - our last evening in Parga. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, service and most of all the food. Stuffed peppers with delicious garlicky brown bread, local sausage in a tomato sauce and a massive slice of baklava. Out of our meals in Parga, the best of the week. Thank you!

Beautiful food and setting, cannot recommend it highly enough. A starter for 2 to share, 2 mains and a Litre of wine, my wife and I were charged 26 Euros. After paying and leaving I went back to the friendly waiter as I honestly thought I had been undercharged. Nope, that was the bill, I did give him a decent... More

My boyfriend and I stumbled across this beautiful place whilst on holiday last September. We had arrived at our hotel at about 10pm and decided to go for a wander in search of food. We saw the flickering candles of this place, with the red check table clothes and instantly loved it. They were kind enough to feed us at... More

We found Sakis during our first visit to Parga 5 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed our numerous visits so when we arrived on the 11th September this year it was our first port of call for dinner. I am pleased to say that absolutely nothing has changed in that the food, atmosphere, service and value for money is as good... More

We walked past this restaurant several evenings and noticed that it was always fully booked and people lined up to get into. I thought it probably is a real..tourist trap..and not very tempting, but then we got it so warmly recommended by some acquaintances and would give it a try. Because of all the people who also had made it... More

This Taverna is owned by Sakis and is run with the help of family members. We heard about the restaurant before going to Parga and it certainly lives up to the excellent reviews it has received. We do not eat meat, but there was plenty of choice in terms of vegetarian food. Everything we ate was really tasty and obviously... More
