A very good budget restaurant, with very good service

Had dinner there in July 2015, the food was really very good. We had a fish dish and the local lamb dish. The lamb especially was excellent. The staff was very friendly and very fast and the prices were surprisiingly good. No wonder it's always full!

This taverna in the square of Astipalaia is just fabulous. My daughter and I worked our way through their menu whilst on holiday. All the ingredients are grown on the island, the fish is just wonderful and lobster with spaghetti a must! Lovely relaxed atmosphere, lots of locals eating there (always a good sign ) Very reasonable, service fab. George... More

Went for a week long holiday to Astylapaia and actually ended up having dinner here FIVE out of the seven nights of our trip! We were attracted to the restaurant by the amount of native Greeks dining there which is always a good sign! Every dish we sampled (and we tried many over these nights!) was delicious - from small... One of the best restaurants in Astypalaia: awesome sea food and food in normal prices. The only negative is that the waiters were a bit moody, they must be a little more pleasant...

We visited Ageri Restaurant with my boyfriend last July during our stay in this magnificent island. We discovered Ageri unfortunately last day of our stay one of our room mates at the hotel suggested to us. You should definately visit al least one both for meat or fish. More specific the prices for the fish is more reasonable than in... More

Good food .Nice people. The fish fresh and tasty. Beans and vegetables wonderful. The platia is quite crowdeded of july and august. So it's not always easy to find a table.

We tried several dishes and all were quite good and all came on decent price. Also the place is beautiful. Service might need an improvement but I wouldn't say that it was bad. Worths a visit!

We ate here 2 years ago. The quality has dropped dramatically. The fish was very poor and badly fried. There was no complementary fruit as served in all restaurants in Greece. Prices are ok. Wont be eating here any time soon.

You can't miss Ageri, it's at the most central spot of the island. But Ilias and Gianna, the owners don't rely on that alone. They serve all typical greek dishes and yet some, mosty meat but also fresh fish (outside of the main season order in advance fish soup!). Anna the cook is great, everything we tried is tasty and... We went there most nights on our very recent visit. This was essentially down to the food, prices and the service we received. The owners' young daughter made it a particular nice experience. We wish her good luck in her studies and her family good luck in their business!
