Nice and friendly staff and the food is above average quality and taste. The eggplant from the oven is obne of the best we've tasted (and we've tasted it a lot). Price quality ration is very good.

Very popular restaurant we were lucky to get a table as 30 min later people were queuing up to get in, good variety of traditional Greek food and price wasn't to bad, the location is right in the middle of the place they call the steno in Appolonia town.

This was our first time to Sifnos and Apostolis was recommended by friends of ours that visit this island every year. After reading the reviews on TripAdvisor we were a little nervous about this place but thought we would give it a try because of our friends' recommendation. My wife and I shared a Greek Salad, Baked Eggplant Appetizer, and... More

I wanted moussaka, but the owner, Andreos, explained he won't make it if he doesn't think enough people will buy it because he only wants his items fresh to be delicious. I liked the explanation. I also liked it when he politely "persuaded" a patron not to add mustard to his dish. I had lamb mastelo in wine and dill,... More

This visit to Sifnos we thought we would try again what used to be one of our favourites over the years. Over these years competition has increased as more tavernas have opened up and the pedestrianised main street of Applollonia has moved more upmarket. We used to especially like eating on the roof terrace with the fabulous views over the... More

Traditional dishes, polite staff, good price, nice location. It is a good choice if you want to eat with less than 40€ for 2 persons.

The food is quite expensive especially for the amount they serve, on the other hand it's a beautiful place and very well designed.

Great find, everything was delicious. I especially loved the baked eggplant dish :"eggplant of koutouki",, also the Paros made red wind at 4 euro was delicious and quite the bargain.

suggested it by a local taxi driver and he was right! Excellent sea and meat food dishes but the best think was that the owner is very very hospitable. All the days in Sifnos I was eat here. Must try.

Lovely traditional greek taverna to eat on the main pedestrian street in Appolonia - try the mastelo lamb! The family also own the Doloma bar nearby which is great for a nice chilled post dinner drink.
