Description: This is an upmarket taverna we found by chance and we return to the area...
This is an upmarket taverna we found by chance and we return to the area because of it; in other words, it has become one of the attractions. It's the delicious, well cooked food, served beautifully, as would be in a first class restaurant. It's the personal attention of the owner, his wife and the staff. It's the fact that we enjoy spending the whole evening there; the owner makes you feel at home. Beautiful surroundings, good ffood, clean and enjoyed by local peoplle as well. A web site is being organised but I do have a telephone number also.

Family run taverna offering superb food, friendly service and extremely reasonable prices. This place made our holiday! I recommend the pork chop - it's the best I've ever had. We were given complimentary watermelon to finish our meal on each visit and a couple of pints of beer were also provided foc on one visit. Couldn't recommend this place highly... More

This Taverna became our local point for a drink and/or food during our stay as it was walking distance to our villa. The owners were all so welcoming and friendly, and we stumbled upon the barman celebrating his birthday on our first night in town, complete with cake, candles and dancing. The greek food was delicious and fresh as well... More

We ate at Andriana's several times during our stay and we were always welcomed with a smile. Service was excellent and we tried both grilled meats and local dishes such as stuffed tomatoes, mousaka and fried aubergine/courgette (zucini) and the salads, all were really good. Prices are very reasonable and complimentary desert & raki always very welcome. All in all... More

Had a lovely meal here (sept 2013). As mentioned in other reviews, dont be put off by the crazily large stone swans! Menu is spilt into languages by column which is really helpful, saves you having to find the english between all the forward slashes, as on many menus. (Not whinging am grateful that english menus are so readily available,... More

Went on our last night. The stone swans had put us off. However the main course was superb. Large child's portion and excellent Kleftiao. The given sweet and raki were good. Children choose bana splits which were good but a bit pricy. Expresso superb, wouldn't recommend the cappuccino.

Firstly, not where shown on map, about 1k further towards Rethymnon on the Old Road. Service was not good, 6 starters ordered, 4 came in 8 minutes, another 5 minutes later, and the last another 10 minutes later.....just before the main course arrived, no apology given. When paying the waiter and owner both tried to take my credit card away... More

My fiancee and I visited this restaurant whenever we could, the food was fantastic and the service was great. The owner was a really good host and always gave a free dessert or vodka, so no complaints there :)
