Description: We strive for what we love in a world that has forgotten the value of food...
We strive for what we love in a world that has forgotten the value of food in our lives. A plate of food, eaten in a restaurant or at home, the taste and the quality depends on the raw materials we use. With this as our principle and also that are forthright in any form of mass production of the raw materials, we have come and we have partnerships only with small local producers, who have the same philosophy as us. Our cuisine consists of raw materials without pesticides and fertilizers and from animals grown and fed in nature, as normally required in warehouses and not eating GM foods.

Although the restaurant is on the edge of the town looking across the bay towards the Turkish Fort it offers all you need winter or summer. In the summer you sit almost on the water's edge and inside during the winter months where the furnishings and ambiance is most welcoming. The staff here are very helpful and give excellent service.... More

The food is excellent, local tastes, mainly sea plates, presented in a "sophisticated" manner, but in the summer the near by sea and the picturesque Rethymnon with the Fortezza castle, mainly in the evening, makes the big difference.A must visit restaurant

The most beautiful restaurant I've ever been on the island- you sit only a few meters away from the sea and feel like you have dinner in your living room located at the beach. Always very friendly waiters serve you great greek/international dishes. The wine card is fantastic, as well as the tasty desert you always get with your Raki.... More

Friends wanted to show us that it was possible to experience fine dining in a Cretan restaurant run by locals and took us to Prima Plora on a sunny November day for lunch. It was warm enough to sit outside at the water's edge with lovely views out to sea and across to the Fortezza. The menu offers a great... More

I always enjoy eating here expecially during summer months outside because the view is so special. You can almost eat with your feet in the water. The food is very good, the fish soup, the risotto with sea food, the shrimps with feta and tomato sauce but also the grilled pork ribs are superb if someone prefers meat.Good choice of wines and biers.

My sister, brother-in-law, and I ate at Prima Plora in September of 2015 upon the recommendation of the owner of Villa Anne where we stayed. We weren't sure what to expect because he seemed to make it sound like it was excellent food but more of a small taverna type feel. We were shocked when we saw how beautiful the... More

Situated directly at the sea and almost foot in the water it is very nice to have a meal here. And the food is wonderful! We went here twice to try a lot of different things and we can recommend almost everything we tried! It is a fish restaurant and although they know to prepare meat as well the meat... More

We saved this place our last night and it was definitely the right thing to do! Booked a table 5 days in advance to get one for the 2 of us right on the sea front, a very romantic setting. The food was slightly more expensive than what you would usually pay in rethymnon however it is worth it. The... More

Had a lovely meal, friendly and accommodating staff. Family friendly. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. An elegant setting, though not the easiest to find.
