Terzakis place is a local taverna well known for many years. The quality is stable (at least when I've been there) and the food is great. Mostly Cretan cuisine, with relatively big portions. Terzakis salad, ntolmades and everything we had were really nice, while seafood risotto was exceptional! Service is very fast and the atmosphere is interesting in a nice,... More

We had a fantastic meal at Terzakis. The restaurant was recommended by our hotelier, and we are very grateful for the tip! The food was excellent and fresh (the swordfish and octopus highly recommended) and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. The service was fantastic - we were looked after course after course, and even got to sample some of Manoli's... More

We visited this restaurant twice. The second time was a mistake; we meant to go somewhere else but found ourselves here and could not be bothered to walk on. We should have done. The first meal here was good: a seafood lunch with good service, so we at least expected a decent meal on this second occasion. But we must... More

I agree with the last review, it was not bad but not great. I would suggest to take only 2 plates for each persons because they are big. The service is too fast and the owner is not really friendly but ok. Do not take the "croquette" because they are not good. Squid and taziki is ok. Souvlaki porc is... More

Nothing bad to say about the food but nothing to be impressed too. Good greek food and this is what you need sometime.

This restaurant is on a road with no car traffic. So no pollution or loud motorcycles! The good is delicious and lots of good choices. We had the broiled octopus, keftedes, tomato & cucumber salad, potato cakes and pork souvlaki. It's moderately priced. Leave room for the complimentary loukoumades, fruit and this outstanding milk custard dessert (sorry forgot what it... More

My husband and I came to this restaurant per recommendation from our hotel in 2011. We were talking of our favorite food experience over our lifetime, and this place is at the top of our list. We can still feel the warm breeze and taste the amazing flavors of the seafood risotto. Travellers: Do not look elsewhere. This place cannot... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by our taxi driver. We thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. It was not a typical Greek restaurant as it has some American/European dishes, but we enjoyed it none the less. The restaurant is in a quiet alley surrounded by other restaurants, but it seemed intimate. Close to the harbor and the pedestrian walk.

well situated in a quiet pedestrian square by a chapel, Terzakis offers a wide range of mezes served up fast and warm. Highly recommended for a peaceful and delicious meal, far from the madding traffic.

If not for the guide our party would have not discovered "Ouzeri tou Terzaki"well hidden in a small street. Professional welcome and nice setting make you comfortable before eating in this unpretentious tavern. Excellent mezzes and good fish made us satisfied with this stop over appreciated after an hectic pedestrian visit of the city
