Good food, good service

We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Chania. Both times we enjoyed great food and good service for a reasonable price. The risotto, fried whitebait and hommous were particularly nice. Nice view over the water, and a heater to keep us warm.

I had tzatziki with pita and the fresh tuna with salad. Both were prepared nicely and the tuna was perfectly cooked. The service was excellent and I liked it so much that I returned the following day. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting chania.

We might be the only foreigners on the Island of Crete but Glossitses is open and the food and service is highly recommendable. We had the risotto nero with fresh cuttlefish. Will be back for more. Perfectly seasoned, every bit a delight. Super Yummy!!

Good restaurant to taste typical Greek food. Do not ask too many dishes , as the portions are plentiful. In the old port , highly recommended for dinner

A small restaurant in the quiet side of the port just by the Porto Venezziano hotel. We had the sardines rolled in vine leaves, the grilled octopus and the mussels rizoto. Everything was very tasty but the sardines were a show stopper. We are very happy to have found this place. The stuff is very friendly and the atmosphere had... More

I ve been there at least five times, never neglected any of my orders. Well cooked food, well built salads, descent wine and raki. Friendly and honest staff, always eager to help, explain, suggest even on peak time. Top food in a top place. Don't miss the grilled tuna, the seafood pastas (great seafood overall) and the green salads! A... More
