Very pleasant place, especially if you arrive before the big crowd, serving fresh and delicious plates focusing on bio and organic ingredients. We followed the suggestions of the owner and did not regret.

Although food on harbour side tourist restaurants isn't always great, the food at Glossitses is very good and reasonably priced (just under 20 euros each for 2 courses and a cocktail/glass of wine/a beer). Five of us ate here a couple of times and we found that if you arrive before 8pm you can get a very good table without... More

The food was excellent, and the service was great. The location is great right at the harbour although away from the most touristic streets. Reserve in advance if you dont want to wait.

We ordered mussels, octopus and Cretan salad.Everything was delicious and the prices were reasonable. At the end of our meal they offered us the traditional raki and sweets. I highly recommend it.

Glossitses is an absolute gem. It sets itself apart from the usual waterfront tavernas through the use of excellent fresh ingredients (especially seafood), and some genuinely inventive cooking. The very friendly and professional service is always a delight. On a blisteringly hot August afternoon, it was the only place that was even remotely full. Highly recommended!

We went to the rstaurant after somebody had recommended it to us and we were amazed. I recommend the fava, bouyiourdi, strapatsada and tigania.

The food was superb. We recommend the sardines wrapped in vine leaves, the fava, the aliada dip (potato and cod--WOW) and the grilled octopus. But no matter what you order, it's all delicious. The house wine is incredible. After dinner, request the sweet wine in lieu of raki--it's amazing. The service is spectacular. We visited Glossitses twice while in Chania,... More

A very pleasant restaurant with an island feeling. Pleasant, attentive service but also rushed and hurried. Orders arrive at the tables as they are ready from the kitchen regardless if it's an appetizer or main course, so, if you prefer a more relaxed dining experience ask your server to bring out the order as you like. The aliada garlic spread... More
