A waterside tavern that offers many seats outside with a myriad of waiters to seat and look after you. They serve genuine Cretan cuisine. The thing to note on all “genuine Cretan cuisine” is that when it’s ready is when you get it, sometimes quickly sometimes not. So you may order something that you believe is a starter only to... Despite awards and opinions, we did not appreciate. Nice place facing ... the long queue of people waiting for tables. Very slow service, too few (running) waiters, too many people, overcrowded terrace. Food maybe adequate but you get more for less money in many other places. Forget-it.

Great place, great food, great staff! The prices were also competitive! We visited the restaurant in the first day of our 5 days stay in Chania and we visited them once again before we leave the island! I wish I could eat there every day!

We went here twice while in Chania and really enjoyed the wide choice of reasonably priced mezze plates. There was a nice view of the harbour but we also liked the way we were away from most of the other restaurants. One night there was some great music being played by local musicians. It felt like a place that the... More

At the end of the harbour, in a great location, we found this Taverna, A bit hidden from all the tourists. Beautiful desgin, for a start. The food was very good and local . The only problem was the slow service...even though the waiters were very nice, so it did not bother us to wait. At the end of the... More

Best location, in the old port of the town. Best traditional food. Really Cretan food, very well cooked and served. Best service. All waiters professionals, they really know their job, quick and friendly. Best live music. Every day different Cretan musicians playing traditional music. Best prices. The most expensive main course is 7 euro or 9 euro. All beverages alcooholic... More

This restaurant had been recommended to us, but sadly we weren't impressed. The food was good, but not extraordinary. We wanted to try different mezes and had hoped for small flavorful portions/dishes, but the menu was not designed that way. We ended up with three different dishes which were good, but  a bit boring. A good ide would be to... More

The most busy restaurant in chania. Only tourists eat there. Service slow, took us 30 mins to order. Forgot our salad, the food was average at best, but cheap. When we told them that they forgot our salad, they reply was pretty snob. AVOID , there are many better choices
