Delicious fish soup !

This restaurant was recommended by our taxi driver. Chania harbour is full of touristy places and we were searching for a place to eat. We had the fish soup after selecting a fish weighing one kilo from their selection. It took about 45 minutes for this to be made after we selected the fish. Well... read more

Set right on the water farther back in the inner harbor where the small fishing boats that bring in the fresh catch bob on the waves across from the restaurant. This place was recommended by a local and it was really great. All of the food tastes like it just came off those little boats you can see just across... More

We spent our first evening in Chania at Antigoni and were treated so well. The waiter had us come to the kitchen to select the freshly caught fish we wanted cooked for dinner. Starting with Ouzo and ending too full for dessert we had a most wonderful meal. A few days later when thunderstorms prevailed, we ducked into Antigoni for... More

After wandering about Chania looking for a dinner spot, hunger got the best of us and we settled on Antigone. It's in a terrific and quiet spot in the harbor. Service was pleasant, but the meal was just average- and very overpriced. We shared a whole fresh fish (after selecting it ourselves in the kitchen) which was actually very tasty.The... More

We used to always go for lunch at this restaurant but were disappointed the last couple of times. Staff different and we were not happy with the food or service.

We spent a pleasant evening here. Having originally stopped for a beer we decided to watch the sunset over an evening meal. The food was excellent, well presented and reasonably priced, Staff were friendly and helpful with the menu. There is a relaxed atmosphere and we could have stayed all night without spending anymore on food and drink. The huge... More

We had a late lunch at Antigoni one afternoon looking forward to the fish soup that they are known for. The place had about 3 tables occupied. We ordered our stuff and were told that the soup would take about 20/25 minutes. We finally got it in about an hour's time. They make it by the kilo and we ordered... More

We went here after the restaurant we wanted to go to was closed and didn't open til later - got a real good impression with selecting the fresh fish we wanted and so. But then when it came to getting the check it took quite a time - and even when we got the check - it took a long... More

Our third time in Chania. Went here based on local recommendation. Soooo disappointed and simply angry at being ripped off and ignored. Now I read the reviews it looks we are not alone. Two of the staff had a stand up row as they brought our main course. Very expensive - do not bother with the €50 fish soup or... More
