We had to book

I had the goat and my husband had the beef. Both were excellent. This is a busy, popular restaurant just set back from the harbour. We couldn't get a table without having booked but were glad we went back the following evening to give it a try. Waiting staff are efficient.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our taxi driver from the airport at Souda when we arrived so we went in search of it and we weren't disappointed. It was one of the best meals ever, so good we went a second night. Everything is delicious (including the cinnamon and honey soaked traditional donuts for dessert)and they also serve... More

One of the best dinners I had in Crete. As a Greek, I can assure you that this is genuine Greek cuisine and high quality. The hand made bread was mind blowing and the log fire goat was one of the best I ever had. The staff was also amazing and knowledgeable about the menu. Totally recommended.

Honestly, none of us were hungry but were craving those fried donuts tossed in honey. Once we sat down, however, we couldn't help ordering one thing after another. Each was spectacular. First, we love bread and their bread was truly perfect, crispy, chewy and moist. The favors were strong, simple and satisfying. The complimentary dessert of donuts tossed with honey... More

Great restaurant with a large menu to choose cooked or grilled goat, lamb (my favourites) or pork... Good choice to avoid the restaurants in the front...

This is my favorite - and a little off the beaten path. The owner is a cuisine-genius. You walk down the harbor to the Maritime museum, take a right, and there is Chrisostomos on the right hand side about half a block away from the sea. It's a gem!!! Excellent and innovative cuisine, good staff, nice ambiance. A cut above... More

This is the way to go in Chania to experience traditional Cretan food in a rustic and friendly atmosphere. We thought this was the best food we had had in Greece, much less on Crete--until we experienced Ergamos in Heraklio. But this was our second-best meal in all of Greece. Highly recommend it!!

Our family really enjoyed this restaurant. The food and atmosphere were amazing. They also brought us complimentary loukmades (honey balls) and raki. Great restaurant not to miss in chania.

Very quiet location. It has that cozy and premium feeling inside. They bake their own bread which is exceptionally good, just perfect. Great selection of greek cuisine. Staff recommendations were on point.

Decent food. We didn't have a booking but they found us a table even though they were very busy. There was a good selection of Greek salads and dishes along with a number of chef specials for that day. Service was decent enough and they helped us more tables when it started to rain.
