This taverna's name means "quiet place by the kitchen". This is a lovely taverna under vines, a perfect place to sit and people watch, away from the busy harbour in on of the quieter streets. It serves traditional Greek food at reasonable prices. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

she took great care of me, awesome food and service with a smile. Made it a point to come back for a second meal. Allow more time in your schedule to explore Chania.

We were told to go to that amazing restaurant from the first day of our visit.A perfect place for you to eat and enjoy your time. We had this amazing plate called "mix greek" that tasted delicious but the portion was so big that we barely ate the half of it! the waiters all in yellow shirts were really friendly!!... More

This restaurant is very nicely located in one of the narrow passageways in the old town, backing onto the old city wall. It is located at a bend in the passageway where the passageway widens to give plenty of room between tables and between the diners and those passing along the passageway. The staff are very welcoming and very attentive.... More

Moutoupaki is set at the back of the old town by the city wall. The tables are not cramped together & the atmosphere is very pleasant. The staff were very friendly & helpful.
