Ate here on first trip away with my friend. Food was delicious..especially the fava beans! Lovely chilled atmosphere even though in busy tourist street. Found it really good value and also tried honey raki here for the first time. Definitely return on next visit to chania.

Loved Tamam enough to go back a few times during the week. Pumpkin soup and Tamam salad made a great meal. Love that smokers get one side of the alley and non smokers the other side. Clean bathrooms, friendly service. Loved it.

Recommended by our hotel and read that the restaurant used to be a Turkish bathhouse. We came to Taman twice and the food was fresh, flavourful and delicious. I especially liked the spinach croquettes, kebabs and the lamb stew with puréed eggplant. Yum!

We ate here twice and will go back. It's perhaps best at lunch. Maybe chefs are exhausted by dinner. The rabbit and the goat dishes are especially outstanding with subtle spices. Grilled foods eaten in the evening were more pedestrian. Not a great choice of vegetables. There is a no smoking room and another across the way that permits smoking.... More

Snobbish service, mediocre food and drink. Frankly, after reading all the reviews, I expected at least the service to be up to snuff, but was bitterly disappointed

Restaurant in the old town of Chania, Crete. Nicely furnished and decorated, polite and discrete stuff, excellent menu, tasteful food! Visit it!

This place was recommended by the hotel front desk. I found it tucked back from the harbor and I was so excited to try it. I got a traditional Greek salad with Cretan soft cheese, and a local dish with beef and puréed eggplant. I ate all of it! I loved the salad, so fresh and delicious. And I inhaled... More
