In the heart of old town, usually crowded, we booked. Very good "homemade" food, excellent choices of vine, very knowledgeable vine person. We came back several times, also for lunch, and hopefully we will be back. One of the best for that kind of food! And the prices are very good.

Every time we visit Chania we visit this restaurant. The quality of food is very good. If the weather permitts choose to eat inside in the old part of this restaurant. You will enjoy it!

We sat outside after a lovely day in Chania - which is a gorgeous town. Service was great and the food....wow - it was brilliant. The flavours were so deep and developed and unusual. My son had the Iranian rice which we all said was the best. But every single dish was worth sampling and looked as good as it... More

This place is worth the price. Great Cretan food with awesome variety of wine. This place is on a league of its own. The best restaurant in Chania.

We were on a 5 day break in Chania, and found this while wandering around the old town. We had visited the 3rd most popular (Tripadvisor rated) restaurant and had not enjoyed it. The four of us can not understand why Tamam is not rated higher. The Iranian rice, rabbit dish and stuffed cuttlefish all rated highly. The bread and... More

A really nice option of food whether you are local or a tourist. With tasty dishes from (Constantinople) Istanbul, located in an old Turkish bath.

Tamam has tables both inside and out...both venues have their own ambience and charm. We found the service excellent, the local wine lovely, and the menu varied and interesting. My spouse is a vegetarian and the server was very accommodating in modifying menu items to suit. I myself enjoyed the goat fillet on more than one occasion...mmmm...not baaaaad. The food... More

We visited Tamam with 2 kids and the whole family enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. The staff makes you feel like an old friend even during your first visit. The food is above all expectations, and good value for money.
