Good solid choices

Open all afternoon, Tanam provided us with a lovely meal at reasonable prices and friendly staff. The Iranian rice dish was a unique treat. Other items were tasty and satisfying. We would eat here again.

We were expecting a lot from this place as it was highly recommended by friends and online sites, so we were quite disappointed when we tried it. It's a famous restaurant located in the center of old Chania and it's fully booked all the time....We managed to find a table for lunch outside in the street, which was very nice....... More

The food is really great, we enjoyed one night so much that we reserved a table for four for one more night. Portions are big, waiters friendly and food sooo tasty. You have to eat there if in Chania but make sure that you make a reservation. Both times we were there we picked different meals and everything was really... More

Excellant food especially good vegetarian choices .Didnt give a 5 as in the old part the seating is a little bit tight especially if you are a group of people .If you are more than 4 people sitting in the new section would be more comfortable .

Excellent food but we are still hungry when we leave Tamam, portions are not generous. The turkish bath environment is original

Visited 2 times in a row Tamam. Excellent choice of traditional dishes and really good Cretan wines . Always busy and difficult to book a table Saturday night with life music. Service could do better.

5 friends and I visited Tamam and enjoyed great service in a nice room across the road from the bar. The food was very good overall, particularly the Cretan cheese pies and a basmati rice that was fantastic. Definitely recommended if you have a chance to visit!

Comfortable and inviting, Tamam is split between the former Turkish baths and a more contemporary interior on either side of the narrow Zambeliou street just before the harbour. Excellent choice of traditional dishes and really good Cretan wines including some Nostos wines from Manousakis. Always busy.
