A must when visiting Chania

TAMAM is a classic food destination in the old town of Chania. Traditional food with great taste. The inside of the restaurant is a gem too!

Good but not the traditional one. Burger stuffed with cheese, calamari stuffed with cheese etc.... But try the mix grill is great & the waiters are friendly.

After enjoying a meal at the restaurant opposite, we thought we try out Taman. Taman is split over both sides of the ally way. All the outside tables were gone but, that was not an issue. The menu offers a good range of Greek food, with some Creatian dishes. I loved the giant beans and the local hard cheese. The... More

Try the dish with lamb and aubergine purée (can't remember the name). One of the best dishes I have ever tasted :)

Food was excellent, service was very attentive and prices were reasonable. The menu had many choices. If you go in the evening, make a reservation or go early, hard to get a table otherwise. Lunch is easier.

This restaurant is one of the oldest in Chania and once you experience its catalog, you will understand why its still one of the local's favourite. Right in the center of the old town, it's hard to find it on non-busy days, but we were surprised by the high level of service they provided while we waited. We visited twice... More

Restaurant located in an old Turksh bath house. It's an unusual dining room where the pool used to be. We were glad when we had to sit inside because all the outside tables were full. The food was very good and unlike standard Greek taverna fare.

Every year I visit Tamam and cannot be wrong about that. Food always is the best. This year the service wasn't so good as last year but it was good enough!
