Enjoyed the great location and good food here several times. Staff are very friendly and the prices are quite reasonable. Would recommend.

We chose to eat here for 3 out of our short 4 night stay. Great location by the lake and spacious. All staff were very friendly and the food and drink were excellent; very reasonable prices for its location-would recommend!

We came here last week and it was lovely. Although my family and I go 'all inclusive', we always try and find a place to eat in a nearby town/village to have authentic food. Zygos has a great setting suitable for families or couples, away from the main busy strip of crowds, with delicious food, (sword fish was yummy!) and... More

We chose Zygos as it had been recommended in our Crete guide book. ( we try to get a Dorling Kindersley 'Top 10' guide when we visit any destination, we find the format and information enhance our trips ) We shared a mixed starter, then a Greek plate, which included Moussaka, kababs and Greek salad. The service was fairly relaxed... More

I've been here before, 2-3 years ago. But something have changed. The interior was no longer charming. The lunch we had there were plain, at the best, the fried potatoes were soft and soaked. The waitering was careless. Nothing like Cretian at all.

The food was great, lovely if you want to try something new. I shared a mixed starter platter with my partner which was gorgeous and you get to try so much more. I then had suckling pig which was also gorgeous. It was also value for money.

Ate here at lunch time (lovely sardines and greek salad) and evening (mixed fish plate for two). Food decent enough, although we found better on our stay in town, but the waiters seemed disinterested.
