Loved the setting, decor and food in Pelagos. The staff were very welcoming and most attentive. We had a beautiful reasonably priced meal washed down with excellent house wine. Didn't like the cats prowling about round the tables tho! But would still go back for everything else.

We really enjoyed our time spent here. The restaurant has a really lovely setting, especially at night. Contrary to what others have said, the service was good and the cats just were not that overwhelming. We had a couple circling, but they were really well behaved. The food was a little disappointing, not what we expected based on the glowing... More

This restaurant has a beautiful garden and when we were there there was a musician playing tradition music which added to the atmosphere. It was our wedding anniversary so we really treated ourselves so the meal was pretty expensive but worth it. There was a couple of cats about but no worse than a lot of places in Crete.

Dining in its terrace at night, on the down town of a nice cretan city, the good food, nice waiters... I recommend it!

We just spent a week in Agios Nikolaos and ate twice at this excellent restaurant. Lovely courtyard setting and really nice friendly staff. Food was great and really fresh and staff explained everything in great English one of the best in Agios not on the main drag but worth finding. Octopus was amazing!

This place was recommended by our travel guide and even though it seemed to be in the center of the town, it proved very hard to find! But the trouble was worth it. What a colorful, serene place to dine at! Wonderful trees, lamps, a little water-wall and lots and lots of colors! It was perfect surroundings after a long... More

One street behind the very busy road fronting the sea and the port of Agios Nikolaos lies an oasis of calm. In an elegant classical style building which would not disgrace an embassy lies the Pelagos restaurant. Diners are seated in a cool courtyard with a fantastic water feature occupying one side. While it is famed for its sea food... More

We met some locals who all recommended this place. This is where the locals eat, and I can see why. Perfect place, in a garden. Comfy seating, great personal service, and real greek food. If you want to avoid the Tourist traps and go to a authentic greek place to take inn all this faboulous Island can offer, this is... More

Best service. Very good fish, excellent grilled salmon, far better red dorado (forgot its real name) and to top that their salads. Prices expect higher than average.
