Nice view and friendly waiter, expensive

As most of the reviews, fish is expensive (70 Euro/kg for seabream). It was well cooked and the view by the seaside is nice. There is nothing special in the Mikrolimano area. There are 3-4 restaurants and shops vacant, and some abandoned vacant buildings is not the best seaside environment. Nothing... read more

Fortunately recommended by hotel as their are many eating options in the Piraeus yacht harbour.. Table overlooking water, nice ambience, seafood options extensive , Greek wine drinkable. The service was excellent (perfect English) and reasonably priced.

Its a scam! The taxi drivers lure you into Peiraias (the port of athens) proclaiming the amazing fish restaurants it brings. However do not be fooled, the taxi drivers work in alliance with the owners of Zorbas. Zorbas pays the taxi drivers to engage and recommend the customers to Zorbas a "clean, good priced fish restaurant". Nonetheless, what the taxi... More

As many described here, taxi driver brought us in, this is usual in Greece and yes, I am sure taxi driver will bet a commission, but this does not bother me. The service was great, very pleasant staff and we were shown a plate of fresh fish to choose from. The chef cooked us a very good Greek salad, followed... More

As i live in Greece many years and i want to make a comment to those who complain that the taxi drivers may get a commission - next time just find a restaurant on your own, or consult your hotel concierge and tell the driver where you are going. Zorbas is a typical tourist restaurant, due to its location in... More

This is a very good tourist trap. Taxi drivers take you there saying that food is very good. We took variety platter for 4 person 44€. Very poor quality and quantity was for 2 persons. Salad is extra and for potatoes you have to ask 3-4 times. We had also Lavraki 28€ very small not enough for 4persons. Drinks are... More

When we decided to visit Piraeus, we took a taxi. Taxi driver brought us away directly to Zorbas. It was ordinary because we thought that they recommended this restaurant. But we ascertain after the event :/ Before we gave an order, one of waiters came to our table and showed us fishes. But we wanted to look at the menu... More
