Really Good service, medium taste

I'm not sure about susi, maybe susi is great n fresh. I took a plate with chicken teppaniyaki which i think the taste wasn't so good according to it's price which was 15 euro.

Really good food and very central location. Restaurant is very small and might need to reserve if you want to visit during the weekend.

First of all, your hotel might tell you this is a Thai restaurant (like ours did), it is not. Worst of all I can't really work out what it is, or why it seems to have a good reputation. Food seemed to be a mix of sushi and generally SE Asian rice suff with other bits thrown in the mix.... More

Unfortunately the famous Furin Kazan does not deserve to be so famous! The worst sushi ever! The california roll was so huge, you cannot even put it in once in your mouth! You need fork and knife to handle it, not so japanese style, right? We also ordered the harumaki that was tasty but the mustard next to it was... More

The sushi itself was not bad. The service was good and professional. The ventilation system is not working properly, so after the meal we both smell like fried teriyaki... The tables were shaky and the place need a good scrub and refreshment! For as it is now this is a very expensive restaurant.

We visited recently this old but popular to the Greeks and Foreigners ethnic little restaurant in Apollonos Str. near to the Syntagma Square, Athens Downtown. The dining area is still very small and you feel pretty cramped in order to enjoy your lunch or dinner. Staff needs more experience in service and to try to understand a little bit better... More

Visited the place with my wife. Sushi was of poor quality and overpriced. Service was good, but that alone was not enough. Probably the first sushi place in Athens, I feel it's more its name and history, rather than food quality, price and environment that keep it in a high ranking.

At first I thought I was being ignored and then later I realized the waiter might have been trying to dissuade me from eating here. Hideous service, mediocre food and extremely expensive.

I've been there two times due to a suggestion from a close friend, and I enjoyed it more than i though both of the times. It is on the expensive side, but i think for sushi lovers its well worth it. The menu is pretty big, but i suspect that all their dishes are equally excelent. The chefs are right... More

I have visited Furin Kazan many times since last year and it has become one of my favorite Asian corners in The city center.. The place is nice clean and modern but really small and many times we had to wait because it was full of people .. However the service is great and food tastes good.. The prices are... More

Staying in Plaka

Neighborhood Profile
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
