Unimposing, but tasty

It's spitting distance from the hotel - and serves nice oriental food at reasonable prices. I had the beef Szechuan and it was palatable.

This seems to be a very popular small restaurant up the street from our hotel. They have a large delivery business. You seat yourself. Server was pleasant and came over right away to take our orders. Food was fresh but bland. We ordered the Thai fried rice and pad Thai price for dinner was under 30€ including a beer and... More

This is a good Asian Restaurant with fast food prices, not fast food though! Everything is fresh and delicious, service is excellent, wide selection, prices at least reasonable. Located in a street with some more Asian Restaurants, possibly more impressive, definitely more expensive, not as good. Not fine dining, but if you are in the area well worth a visit.

I stayed in Plaka area during my winter vacation. This restaurant located only 2 minute walking distance from my hotel. Tried Indonesian fried rice, glad the taste are perfect/authentic. Recomended for people who are looking Asian food in Plaka area

We ordered a delivery from this place: a salad, noodles and a soup. Tom Yum soup was okay, mango salad and sweet-sour noodles with chicken were not so good. The vegetables in the salad, especially onion, seemed not so fresh (we ordered the food in the evening, it seemed that it was cut from early morning or even the previous... More

Good basic Asian fare. Since are kids are very high to eating Rice we had to go to Noodle Bar so the kids could stuff themselves on Nasi Goreng and the special noodles. Food and seating were ok. Portions are good sized.

The staff was friendly enough and the place looked clean. The food was freshly prepared, but was kind of boring for Asian noodles. We tried a couple of different kinds and one was weirdly sweet, while the other was light on the spices. It was ok, but not for 20 euros.

A Thai salad isn't a Thai salad just by the name. This is cheap. Admitted. They have a lot of fancy dishes with noodles but they don't have a clue how to cook it. Stick to Tzaziki and stifado or study how to cook the food you want to serve.

Staying in Plaka

Neighborhood Profile
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
