We ate dinner here on the recommendation from the staff at AVA Hotel. We were able to walk here from the hotel. It seems like it is off the beaten path a little and not as touristy as some other places might be. We were a group of 3 and we were able to be seated right away on a... More

Mani Mani is seriously delicious. And if you go before 630pm you can get half size portions of the full portions. Their olive oil and wine is their own brand. Everything was really tasty. We tried the ravioli with feta cheese- i need to try that now that i'm back home. Everything was tasty and the service was really great... More

We were four people with no reservation on a Thursday evening, most of the tables were taken already. Luckily, we were shown to a nice table at the back area. The food was very tasty and the local wine was fine, sign that the restaurant respected its clients. A lot has been seen in the very touristic corners of this... More

I have been there twice, after I was recommended by friends.. It is a restaurant(not fish taverna or souvlaki place or internacional kitchen) close to Acropolis museum (Falirou street is parallele to Sygrou avenue) Not too simple, not luxurious, vere very good quality. I would recommend it myself too to all those who want to experience authentic Greek kitchen, combining... More

You enter a fairly nice room with adequate decoration trying to immitate the character of old Greek tavernas of "lower-middle class people" during '60s.Fair enough.Service is adequate to good ,but the food is not so good as someone should expect.Since my family comes from Kalamata and I know how to distinguish good olive oil ,I found the plates not with... Overall good experience - not excited though. We went there a company of 6 people in total, had first dishes, main and desserts. In an overall sense, it was a nice lunch more or less.

Probably the best restaurant close to the Acropolis Museum. Located in an old renovated building, has a very nice atmosphere and the food is excellent. The menu is small but differs from what people are used to eat in a Greek taverna. It has original tastes from Mani, a peninsula in the South of Peloponnese. Very nice wine also and... More

If you happen to be in Athens and you want to taste an excellent sample of Greek cooking, you have to try the restaurant Mani Mani ( Μάνη Μάνη in Greek and not Manh Manh as is spelt by previous reviewers in an attempt to reproduce in English the Greek letter "eta" which in Greek is pronounced like the English... Great place for a special dinner, good was very good and the wait staff very accommodating. Great wine, white table cloths, and yummy regional food from the southern part of Greece.
