To Trikyklo is a little outside of the main tourist areas, so walking there is likely a bit of a trek depending where you are staying. When we asked for dinner suggestions from our hotel (New Hotel), they knew of this place and concurred it was a good choice. We made reservations for a table outside, and when we arrived... More

Ignore the Aug 30 2014 review which refers to another place. After some confusion due to the different descriptions we sat at a street table in this small taverna mostly patronized by locals. Many kids playing in the streets and the nearby park, quite cheery. We ordered a variety of small plates: eggplant, Greek salad, Tzatziki, grilled vegetable and fried... More

Upon entering the restaurant, you enter through a short maze with the look of a wine cellar. You are met at the end of the short maze with a traditional Greek "welcome" shot. We sat on the terrace with the view of Athen's lights, beautiful. The Atmosphere was lovely with tables set far enough apart to have a private conversation.... More

We were here for a dinner. Indeed this is outside of tourist trails and it takes a bit of effort to find it. The atmosphere is nice though. Food is good, but I wouldn't name it excellent. I had a burgers and they were not full-flavour for my taste. Keep in mind there are mosquitoes on the street, but staff... More

Nice and cozy place, friendly staff, really cheap food and delicious cuisine. I took the rice with mussels and raisins, really good but not very warm; then the octopus in vinegar sauce which was really amazing and soft; the beef was ok. They offered us the dessert and the coffee. Really positive!

The service was ok but we were not that impressed of the food like the other reviewers. They served traditional greek food. I had the seafood plate but everything was breaded and cooked in oil. OK evening but not that super.
