Decided to eat here after seeing a recommendation in Lonely Planet. We found it a little difficult to locate as it was down a side street where construction work was in progress. Smallish restaurant with tables and kitchen collocated under the same roof but separated by a servery. The menu was quite large and varied, for example, I had grilled... More

I last ate here in November last year (reviewed on here also) and based on that experience had no doubts about visiting it again. I took my father there for dinner on Saturday 3rd May and had booked ahead. I'm glad I did as locals were being turned away from around 9:30pm onwards. The food was excellent once again, the... More

Relaxed atmosphere with exquisite food and away the hoards of tourist. Make reservations for a charming evening of authentic yet sophisticated Greek cuisine. Nice wine list from various regions.

So good. We were the first people here, we arrived at 7:00. We loved everything about this place from the food & wine to the tables and bar made from olive oil tins. We shared the rocket salad, the Fava Beans (my favorite!), sweet potato with pork & truffles and the octopus & chorizo gnocchi (which was prepared PERFECTLY -... More

I love this place, its small and hidden and the food is phenomenal without being over the top or showy. Its very typical Greek ingredients and meats but with a twist. The only thing that really annoyed me was that I couldnt finish my pasta ( i mean it was practically untouched) and i asked for a doggy bag and... More

Every time we are in Athens we make it a point to dine here. The food authentically Greek but not the typical tourist menu. I would call it gourmet authentic featuring local foods with a finer touch.

A very friendly and competent staff serves excellent, innovative plates in a relaxed environment with reasonable prices. The only minus is that it is a bit noisy.

Restuarant is small (40 covers approx.) and the kitchen is visible from most tables. The welcome and service were excellent throughout. I was dining alone and had fava bean puree with local sausage & a fried egg, which was very tasty followed by slow cooked veal shank with mushrooms on a bed of mash that simply melted! With a bottle... More

There are no many Greek restaurant where you can eat fusion cousin & enjoy an outstanding service. Well Trapezaria is on eof them. We had the opportunity to meet the chef who takes personal care of the dishes. We enjoyed great quality dishes with fresh ingredients followed by some outstanding deserts. I would give 100% for the presentation as well.... More
