Good fish tavern in the City

Visited for a an informal Sunday lunch. Place is good for families and large groups. Large menu with loads of options. Nice environment but not at all special or fancy. Very good place to have some fish in the city. Recommend the salmon tartar which was super tasty!

We set outside on a cool evening. The atmosphere is very nice. We shared many plates but the one I can recommend is the shrimps (kind of saviche). The fried calamri and shrimps I would not recommend for diet keepers. The salad was fresh and well seasoned. The service was fantastic.

My friends and I have been visiting since it opened. It has a nice quirky style and well connected clientele. Personally I think that it is stylish and I would not call it a taverna. I have found the chefs to be very capable and have never had a badly cooked or badly presented dish. The garden is nice in... More

I always had a dislike for places who have a very long menu-card and do not really a character; this is one of these places where everything you will eat is

Very good food, reasonable prices. The setup is not idyllic, actually nothing much more than the ordinary.

A nice typical Greek taverna offering a wide variety of dishes at low prices. Many cooked dishes as well as grill meats and some fresh fish can satisfy all tastes. The service is attentive and the food very tasty. At the end of your meal they offer complementary deserts & or fruits. Good value.

Excellent food, particularly the kritharaki (Greek form of risotto) with shrimps. The salmon is also exquisite. Portions are rather big, tastes are excellent; but do not come here looking for meat. This is definitely a restaurant one should visit if one like fish- and not necessarily only once. With regard to negative comments from fellow reviewers: This is not a... More

I like seafood but it is true that unfortunately there are not many restaurants good enough in Athens. I found this restaurant twelve years ago and since then I visit there very often. Having recommended Peperia to many persons, only once I heard a comment of dissatistifaction due to the fact that the general taste of foods emit a bit... More

We visited the restaurant after very enthusiastic critics but we were not satisfied..we ordered 2 appetizers, one salad an one main dish (buffalo steak) and two beers and we payed 49 euro. The price would not be quite the problem if we had enjoyed the food. The salad was nothing special but ok, the buffalo steak was excellent but the... More
