Authentic neighbourhood eatery

The sort of place that used to be so common in Greece where for little money people could go out, enjoy themselves and eat like at home without having to do the dishes afterwards! Simple, honest and a taste of Greece, enjoy and smile!

Type of no-fuss place. I read other reviews and almost didn't go here... This is the type of place where you probably need to stand up for yourself a bit to make your order etc. known. We sat outside by choice, and it started raining, but the lovely older waiter man came out at perfect times to take our order,... More

Good value and lots of classic Greek dishes. Large portions - don't over order. Not a lot of ambiance - don't go here for a romantic dinner - but great for a group of friends especially if you want to make a lot of noise!

We really really love the food here. I thought it was authentic and value for money. No touts which is the other bonus point! Quick, no nonsense service. We liked this so much we came back twice.

The service was not the friendliest, but the food made up for it. The kebabs came to the table glistening with juices coming fresh off the grill. The Greek salad was okay, but the taziki was excellent. We liked it so much for dinner, that we got take-away again another night. The prices are very reasonable too. Also, if you... More

We found this little taverna very close to our hotel. The food was very tasty and we got big portions at low prices. We especially recommend the lamb chops. It is for sure not a fancy restaurant but if you want to eat some realy nice food at low price, go for it!

I truly think this place should be closed for the following reasons: 1) Truly appalling service, it took 20 minutes to even for the waitress to bring the menu, enen though the place was empty!! 2)Having to wait 1 hour for our food while the place was empty (customers eating in the restaurant are not a priority as much as... Recommended by our hotel, First time, food was tasty and well prepared. However, second time, we ordered moussaka and its center was cold. Probably cooked hours before (which is understandable and OK) and insufficiently microwaved. Prices were reasonable. Staff was not very friendly.
