We ate here twice while in Athens. Food was very reasonably priced and had great flavors. Would definetely recommend if you are on a budget and looking for a reasonable place to eat in the area.

We stumbled upon Ambrosia and decided to give it a go based on what we could see others were eating, and we were not disappointed. The salad was fresh and all serves were generous. The perch and chips was excellent as was the chicken souvlaki. Even the carafe of house red wine was good. Great value. Service a bit quirky... More

The hotel clerk suggested this place so feeling confident we went. The food was not great by any means. We didnt get what we ordered ... 3 out of four were wrong. The only excuse was..."oh we are out of those things". Water and bread were not requested but brought to us and we were charged for them. The food... More

We had the pork chops and the meatballs and it was great! Good service, nice setting. Value for money through and through.

We were advised by our hotel to eat at Ambrosia but were really disppointed: meat too cooked and dry, without taste, salad not fresh, soft fries and even the pitta were less tasty than in other resaurant. Service not really friendly, the servers were more interested by the football match... Price was OK but we don't advise it.

We went to this restaurant 3 times during 3 days, it was recommended by the hotel receptionist, as the restaurant was just meters away from the hotel. I was keen to have the 'giant bean stew' which became my favorite during our holidays in Greece. ( I am a vego ) We sat down enthusiastically, only to find out, they... More

By now you would have done the acropolis and Plaka restaurants...reach out to ambrosia and enjoy authentic Greek food at a much cheaper price and genuinely honest service....

We ate at Ambrosia several times during our visit and were delighted each time. The food is served outside with cooling fans providing just the right amount of breeze in hot weather. The staff is VERY polite and efficient. The food defies simple words. It is fantastic. I would eat here every day if I return to Athens.

This small restaurant was recommended to us as being good value, good food, not so many tourists. This was our first dinner after a long day of travel, and it was so great we went back several more times during the week! The food is fresh and plentiful and EXCELLENT prices. At different meals, we had the Greek salad, lamb,... More
