We loved the restaurant situated in an old mansion. The whole first floor had been repaced with glass walls giving you a great view of the floodlit surrounding buildings (you are in athens for the ruins so it will be your cup of tea) Food was innovatiev with things like cheese wanting to be a beetroot and orange mist making... Enjoyed taste of Greek food very much! Their presentation was very special and fantastic. Number of dishes was slightly bigger than my capacity.

The best restaurant since a long time! I live in France, and I try some places, but this one is the best and must have 3 stars of Guide Michelin, 2 stars it's not enough!!! Thank you.

My husband and I went for our honeymoon. This is not just a meal its an experience. Each dish was an adventure and absolutely delicious. Completely recommended to any adventurous traveller who wants a funky twist on traditional Greek food. Menus are many chef's choicescourses. We had snails, lamb brain, chocolate soup, pasta, a very interesting salad, fish we cooked... More

There is no doubt that the food here is very good indeed and was by some margin the best meal we had during our short trip to Athens. It's not perfect though, hence only four stars, but there's lots to like. The night we went, they only had a single (14 course!) menu - usually they have a choice at... More

it was our second time there, and I have to admit that it was not as exceptional as the first one, the service was a little bit stressed and the somelier was not at his best day, the food was really great , but it didn t give you the magical experience of our first time there. Now 2 years... More

We visited Funky Gourmet for the first time almost a year ago and yes, they are trying to be creative, innovative and unique. We decided to contact Funky Gourmet again before Christmas to make a Reservation for New Year's Eve. The person we talked didn't knew about Reservations and the responsible for the Reservations wasn't there. We gave name and... More

It's not often that one gets to eat at a Michelin* establishment, never mind one that has 2 x *. What is even more fascinating is to get to taste and linger on traditional Greek fare where the taste describes the item yet the appearance is just so deceiving; IMAGINE the surprise when I dug into a white sorbet that...
