Full of healthy vegetarian options and has a great selection of juices and smoothies. Fantastic friendly service. I had the burger with sweet potato chips. It was filling and delicious. Would recommend to anyone who likes eating clean food.

As I said it's a good vegan restaurant ! Despite the fact that it's not so difficult to eat in Greece while being vegan it's good to have a real meal with different ingredients... We've had a wonderful time and eaten the best vegan burger ! I didn't put the maximum rate as I got a bit disappointed to see... More

A good option in Plaka if you look for a veggie in Plaka. Even if you are not veggie the food they are serving will make you pleased. Very reasonable price.

I surprised my family when I said that we would have lunch at a vegetarian restaurant, as we usually are “serious meat eaters”, but at the end of the service, everyone left with a bright smile on the face, having had a tasty and healthy meal. We liked it so much that we returned 2 or 3 days after for... More

Went both nights we were in Athens. Next door to restaurant is a grocery store with lots of gluten free and vegan options. They have a sweet potato burger that is awesome. Gluten free pizza and option available. Friendly staff. Get the chocolate dessert!

Avocado is now my favorite restaurant in Athens and I'm not a vegetarian! The variety of food is fabulous: salads, noodles, sandwiches, burgers, panini, rice, quinoa, and risotto vegetable dishes, pasta, pizza, smoothies, coffees, teas, and the best desserts ever! Everything is completely organic and bought from mostly local producers. The wait staff is very helpful and friendly. I have... More

The menu is absolutely amazing, there is SO MUCH to pick from... Salads, pastas, burgers, paella, specials, smoothies, juices, raw desserts, tea, coffee and probably more. The serving size is HUGE, the products are delicious and the service is so beautiful. I would come here every day if I was in Athens longer! Thanks so much for a great last... More

Staying in Plaka

Neighborhood Profile
Plaka
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
