We visited twice this restaurant during our stay in Athens. The food was very good. The bread and tzatsiki were the best ones. I really recommend the tuna salad. The lettuce was so fresh and perfect. Only the bread in my chicken sandwich was boring (not self-made, "white hamburger bread"). I recommend to order souvlakis and other greek food if... More

We were thirsty and hungry after walking the Acropolis. It would be nice to find someplace to relax and people watch. This area looked promising with a pedestrian walkway along the railroad ditch. The first few cafes we saw were empty but this one seemed to be more occupied. After checking TA, it looked like it had better reviews too.... More

A really nice evening at a great cafe in Monasteraki. The guys were very friendly, helpful and welcoming, the food fabulous, especially the crispy, crunchy, divine pizza, and the bill reasonable. Sat amongst many locals and enjoyed the lovely November evening vibe. Amongst many choices, worth a visit.

Are you in Adrianou Street? Right choice in Athens' vibrant evenings! On Adrianou 25 you will find "Antica Café". No mistake! Ask for a table in its terrace, order a beer and enjoy the scene! Awesome views of "Ancient Agora" and of monumental "Acropolis". What else? Extremely friendly service, correct Italian and Greek cuisines and adequate prices. Take your time,... More

Visited Antica while in Athens. Had dinner there twice and had very good meals. The host/owner was extremely personable and treated us like he'd known us for years! Reasonably priced. Would recommend.

We ate in Adrianou Street 3 times and this café/restaurant was very nice. Its great for people watching, the street is fairly busy and it was nice and relaxing. The view is nice too. The staff are efficient and the toilets downstairs are clean. I had a kebab which was massive and came with lots of pitta and a dip.... More

6 very wearily travellers stumbled into this cafe, to be met by the most friendly, helpful owner and his staff. Nothing was too much trouble, 6 glasses of water were on the table before we could ask. Local instructions, helpful advice, somewhere to leave our bags and to cap it all lovely food. They really saved our bacon and made... More

We were craving cold beer and a pizza after wandering Ancient Greece. This place offered ice-cold Alfa drafts and a solid pizza - good people, too. Try it!

Located on Adrianou St, adjacent to the Agora, it is among many cafes there. We had an outside table, great for watching the crowds go by. Food and service were good, as was local wine. Reasonable prices.
