All I can say is YUM! The Fresko Yogurt Bar has three different kinds of Greek yogurt and the traditional Greek toppings were delish. A great place for breakfast, snack or dessert.

the place is simple, there are 4 kinds of yogurt (light, traditional, extra rich and creamy, goat) and a buch of toppings (fruits, jams, honey, cookies, ...) I got the extra creamy with strawberries and black cherry jam.. totally worth it!

The greek yogurt here is so much better than in the U.S, so even if you don't like it you should definitely try it here. They have various toppings and types of greek yogurt. I went everyday I was in Athens.

Moles upon freaky while walking through plaka, delicious, fresh Greek yogurt --four styles--made in the traditional way with the option to add toppings. Try orange spoon fruit with orange honey and crushed almonds. Freskos also serves yogurt smoothies and Greek desserts like baklava and a really nice sweet cream pie doused in honey, as well as a great iced espresso.... More

We visited this yoghurt bar twice despite only being in Athens for two days. A simple concept executed very well. Good traditional Greek yoghurt and accompaniments. Good value considering proximity to Acropolis and Temple of Zeus etc. Staff were extremely friendly and happy to give samples of different flavours. Great pit stop while sightseeing!

Went here and tried several flavors of the rich and creamy yogurt (honey/walnut, black cherry, and quince). All were very good. The service was top notch. When he learned we just arrived in Athens, out came a map and a lot of good tips on places to go. Highly recommended.

Staying in Plaka

Neighborhood Profile
Plaka
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
