Great snack

Fresh and delicious yoghurt with different fillings - I loved traditional one with cardamom / mandarins and sheep yoghurt with strawberries. Wonderful and healthy to-go snack.

This little yoghurt bar was around the corner from The Athens Gate Hotel.Getting a yoghurt smoothie cheered up the guy behind the counter during Athens doom and gloom. Lots of flavours and syrups including liquer flavours

We stopped by on our way to the ruins for some yogurt. They offered samples and had a variety of options. We had a smoothie and the rich and creamy yogurt with lemon fruit spoon. The lemon was sweet and big chunks of preserved lemon in it. Really reasonable and several options. The ladies who worked there were very helpful... More

Food: Simple food is the best food! The yogurt was fresh. Fruit was sweet. Service was excellent. Our family love this place! Place: Just a small shop in a tourist area. Fresko has some stools inside (with A/C) and two picnic tables with benches in the front. It's a small space but very relaxing:

Nothing wrong nothing special. Don't ask if they have frozen yogurt though or u will get a very angry answer. Lol. Good location though and better then buying pre made ones from the corner shops or Everest.

Visited Athens for over week in late May. Had yogurt at Fresko Yogurt Bar almost everyday of the entire visit. Yogurt is really good and the choice of toppings ranges from fresh fruits, jams, flavored honey and nuts. A must stop when in the area around the Acropolis.

This place is nothing special. It's run of the mill yogurt with different toppings. I found it quite watery for Greek yogurt. It's not bad but it's certainly not great either. I would recommend going to Stani instead if you want real Greek yogurt. It's worth the walk.

We loved the greek yogurt from Fresko! There are several toppings to choose from. The greek yogurt is nothing like the little containers we buy at our grocery stores in the US. Very tasty. Try it. You will not be disappointed. There are a couple of benches outside of Fresko Yogurt Bar where you can sit, enjoy your greek yogurt... More

Staying in Plaka

Neighborhood Profile
Plaka
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
