great caipirinha!!

Not much of a decoration, indifferent I should say. Helpful staff. Great caipirinha. I liked the meet selection, very well marinated and grilled. Do not underestimate the way meet is served in small skewers. It is very possible to feel indigestion. Other dishes were indifferent to me.

I do not know if this is traditional Brazilian food, but the grilled meat tasted great and was well marinated. There is also a very rich selection of salads. I suggest you choose the "all you can eat" menu so that you try almost all the meats. Overall I felt it was a Fair Deal.

Most troubling of all, the meat was of very poor quality, which kept both of us in the toilet whole night. Except the salad bar, which is of medium quality, the rest is under average. The rice served was obviously old, probably because of the few visitors. Helpful servant was the only advantage, but otherwise, whoever has been to a... More

First time, the lady in the entrance neutral. Inside nothing special or different from a typical restaurant. After explanation for the menu (10different meat &free salad) the service was very good but nothing different the sweets neutral. The best caipirinha Only for the cocktail you have to visit

If you want to eat LOTS of well roasted meat, that's the place! With only 19euros per person we ate till we dropped (there is unlimited refill of meats and access to the salad bar included in the price). The quality of the meats was fine too. Only downside was some of the waiters' attitude and the run-down look of... More

This restaurant has this following rules: 1) Big menu 21 euro/person, includes : Salad bar, appetizers,10 different types of meat and Brazilian coffee. 2) Small menu ( a little bit lesser), includes: Salad bar and 5 different types of meat. On weekends there is available only the big menu. The problem is ,if someone doesn't want to take the big... More

Went to this "All You Can Eat" restaurant last night. The interior is very green, tacky and it has a sporty yet tribal feel to it!! (photos of soccer players on one side of the wall and Brazilian spears and masks on the other!!! They kind of mixed everything up in there!!) It goes like this. You go to the... More

Maracan Grill is restaurant in Athens (Tzitzifies, near Moschato) that I wanted to visit a long time ago. It's there many years and is one of the three know Brazilian Restaurants that someone could find in Athens. To reach it, you take the Thiseos Avenue, pass Kalithea and turn right, after the Expert Electric Stores, in Kolokotroni str. Parking: Very... More

Staying in Plaka

Neighborhood Profile
Plaka
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
