It was worth the walk to get there. We were not disappointed. It's strange to order eat then pay but it works for them. They had a lineup out the door and they still managed to take our order and bring us food in less than 20 minutes. They also timed it so we got our 3rd sandwich right after... More

Once you choose your meal from a greco/english menu you are lost in translation!!! Place is bustling with locals coming in and out, being served a bit without any particular order... Nevertheless if you are in Thens, relax cause you're probably on vacation and have all the time in the world. Just enjoy all the mouthwatering aromas coming from the... More

Went to get a real souvlaki yesterday from Kostas after having not such a good one from other recommended location the day before. These souvlakis really do taste as good as everyone says. I am not a huge fan of pork but these were so tasty and fresh that I could have had more than one. Sat outside on the... More

It was the most tasty souvlaki we had in Athens. We had 3 souvlaki in pita and 2 beers for 11 euros! It's a tiny little place, not easy to find.

Very much above average small and inexpensive take out Souvlaki place a few blocks from the Parliament building. Juicy and flavorful pork wrapped in a pita with yogurt, onions, tomato, and parsley. It can be a busy place which speaks to its popularity among locals and tourists a like. Hours are pretty limited, something like 9 AM to 3 PM... More

I've had some other pita souvlakis in Thassos, Greece, before. This one is delicious. The old guy prepares it in front of your eyes. It takes 2 minutes and it costs 2 euros. I've had two of them. A must go.

Focus on the appetizers, which are tasty and varied. Main dishes are nearly all fried and quite bland. Wine flows freely, and it can be quite loud.

Saw reviews for this place on Trip Advisor. Looked good so gave it a try. Very, very good souvlaki and a very good value. Two of us had 3 souvlaki pittas and 2 beers for 10 euros. Guy behind counter seemed very helpful. Only thing I would add is get ther dearly because they close at 230pm

I will add my voice to all the others and say this was an excellent souvlaki. Perhaps not 'the best in the world', but really excellent. A little different to many others i have had: no garlic sauce but heavy on a delicious tomato-based sauce. Possibly more than, or equal to, the food is the experience of finding this hole... More
