Delicious Souvlaki in Kolonaki

Very delicious greek food in the heart of Kolanaki area. Service is very good and the food is very nice. We have tried pork souvlaki, meat souvlaki, gyros, kebab, burger and greek salad and all were very good. Very good option for something quick and inexpensive.

Everything on a stick.... Even a Greek salad! Humour and high spirits by the talk of the town focussing on good food. The setting includes cowbells and loads of people. Something for everyone!

When I was living in Athens I used to go there 3-4 times per week. I was working pretty close to it and although the area is full of nice places to eat, this was always the favourite one. The cornflour of the pita gives a special taste, the vegetable sticks are great and.. how to forget that mountain of... More

Went there in August with a Greek friend, who had only heard recommendations from his own friends. Glad he listened to them! Excellent choice of varied souvlakis, sides and french fries. We had all kinds of souvlakis (beef, lamb, chicken) and all were incredible. Vegetables were also very fresh and super tasty (mushrooms in particular!). It's a very narrow grab... More

Just a fad... all the meats are frozen. Quality not very good and very expensive for what it offers.

This is the rare location in Athens where one can order a vegetarian or even a vegan souvlaki, by selecting a grilled cheese or grilled mushroom filling instead of the standard pork meat. The printed menu for this souvlaki eatery is somewhat confusing, and not available in English. Just take a look at the glass case to see the selection... More

Staying in Kolonaki / Lykavittos

Neighborhood Profile
Kolonaki / Lykavittos
By far the ritziest neighborhood in town, Kolonaki is home to most of the chic boutiques and designer label stores. Here, the wealthy say no to austerity by dressing in their finest and spending hours in the trendy cafés around Kolonaki Square, sipping the most expensive coffee in Europe. The area also contains a couple of notable museums and cultural institutions, which add to the air of nobility. The leafy upper reaches of Kolonaki transition into Lykavittos Hill, the highest point in central Athens. Climb the paths through its wooded slopes to the tiny chapel at the top, from where you are rewarded with stunning views across the Acropolis to the sea and even the mountains of the Peloponnese on a clear day. The wooden amphitheater up here hosts regular concerts during the summer.
