My first time trying Michelin 2 star restaurant. I really had great time being amazed by the smart combinations of each ingredients in each dish. The nemea wine recommended by the sommelier was really good too. The service was quite pleasant. I'd recommend to anyone for a pleasant, romantic dinner

Two stars for excellent long culinary presence, and I hope soon and third, the staff has vast experience and deep knowledge of the new chef added new dishes. The wine list is populated with options for all budgets. The atmosphere is somewhat heavy but perfectly justified. I suggest you choose menu instead of free choice.

When you visit a 2 Michelin star restaurant you expect grenades to explode in your mouth with every bite. This didn't happen. Sure the winery was excellent and stuff well trained, but the dishes were just interesting, except for the desert which was amazing. Unfortunately for us the chef of the Michelin star French restaurant didn't cover our expectations. Clearly I... More

Spondi offers a 2-3 michelin star dinning experience at all levels. The food is consistently great, not too experimental but of the highest quality, the service attentive and the wine options very broad. The restaurant is beautiful and unique in the sense that it maintains a baroque atmosphere (anything other than minimal-industrial [and cheap] is very rare these days) and... More

Searching for something special to surprise my wife i decided to go to an over budget restaurant. There are not many 2* michelin restaurants in Athens, so i decided to spend our evening in Spondi. Parking is facilitated by a person at the main entrance. At the reception we were received as expected by such a place, and they proposed... More

We have visited Spondh on 20 December. The restaurant was extrimelly expensive and the food was moderate. There was nothing good to report. It was a waste of money and time

Spondi is an idea not just a restaurant. The plates are more than just delicious. The tastes are spectacular offering a unique experience! In the centre of Pagkrati, Athens the capital of Greece, Spondi becomes a beacon of culture, a landmark of modern gastronomy.

The atmosphere was very romantic, and the food was creative and delicious. Each course was something different than anything I'd ever tasted before. The service was great, and the wine was perfect.

Staying in Pangrati

Neighborhood Profile
Pangrati
The elongated Panathenaic Stadium, built for the first modern Olympic Games in 1896, acts as grand gateway to the otherwise purely Athenian neighborhood of Pangrati. This area of typical small squares, busy main roads and residential streets will give you a clear sense of what living in this metropolis is like. A walk up quiet Markou Mousourou Street on the west side of the stadium will bring you past the First National Cemetery to Mets, home to many expats. Turn right to reach the charming Platia Varnava. East of the stadium, commercial Eratosthenous Street leads to rather nondescript Platia Plastira, from where Effranoros Street continues uphill to Platia Profiti Ilia, crowned by a huge church. Among the standard four- to six-story apartment blocks that typify Athens, Pangrati also boasts some genuinely authentic tavernas and the odd trendy bar.
