This restaurant takes a little bit of finding but boy is it worth it! A free 2 minute long tail boat ride takes you from the jetty to the floating restaurant sat in the middle of the bay. All of the seafood is locally caught, most of which is kept in net pools set within the floor of the restaurant... More

Ok this is my 4th trip and I almost don't want to write this, as I don't want more people to find it as it's still not touristy. Either way these floating restaurants are great way to sit and eat locally FRESH caught food that you pick out of the big nets and so forth. The reason why I am... More

It's a little far from town, you need to have car to get to the port. They have free shuttle boat service at all time, just only 2 minutes and you get on the raft. Enjoy super fresh seafood and breezy wind.

After much excitement, anticipation and tricky navigation in the rental car we arrived with romantic notions at the pier with the intention of going to one of the other floating restaurants. The boat driver kept saying 'no beer there', so, slightly suspicious but not knowing any better we allowed him to take us to Kruvit. Well, it was shocking. The... More

You should go to kruvit to have the experience of eating on a floating restaurant. It is an impressive set up with their longtail boat as free taxi to the restaurant. The place could be hard to find if you go on your own, but local taxi drivers will know it. The food is normal, i had better seafood at... More

Wanted to give My Wife something special to her Birthday i opted for Kruvit Raft, where i have eaten some years ago and i remembered it was Okay. Nothing special but the Atmosphaere counts as well. Wev'e got: Black Seabass, fried to death that the Meat was not to distiguish from the Fishbones Fried Rice with Crabmeat, there was so... More

We went to Kruvit raft (a floating restaurant) on a recommendation from one of the restaurant manager's in our hotel, and the experience was simply wonderful! The restaurant is reached by longtail boat (free as long as you have a meal at the restaurant) from Laem Hin harbour, which in itself is already an exciting start to the experience. The... More

It is always special to eat in a restaurant that can only be reached by boat since it is a swimming raft. It makes the experience even more unique when you choose your meal out of nets hanging down into the sea. This time our choice was Grouper (choose the catch from the adaman sea rather than the ones from... More

start your journey late afternoon from Laem Hin pier with a trip on a longboat, across the river to the raft, there are other floating restaurants too but Kruvit is the only one to serve alcohol. It is very basic, but the food is absolutely wonderful! You start by walking around the huge raft with its holding tanks full of... More
