Best meal on the Island!!!

Our party of nine went to dinner at the Akropolis on the island of Antigua for dinner tonight. I can't imagine having a better experience. The food was superb! We had a dinner for two which had lamb chops, chicken souvlaki, pork souvlaki, kefthedes, salad, rice and a couple other things that I... read more

Everything about this place was stellar -- from the food to the location to the charming waitstaff and owner. The only issue to be wary of is the mosquitoes -- they were inescapable and made an otherwise perfect dining experience a bit gnatty...

Having lived in Greece, this is by far some of the best Greek food in this Hemisphere. We triedthe Keftedes (scrumptious), as well as the Moussaka (heavenly), Chicken Souvlaki (very good). Whether or not you like dessert is irrelevant when it comes to this chefs Baklava, completely home made from scratch, and a nice sized piece for two if you... More

We recently vacationed in Jolly Harbour and The Akropolis was our favorite restaurant. The food was delicious, friendly service, and nice atmosphere (we ate on the balcony both nights). The prices were reasonable compared to the other local restaurants! I would definitely recommend this place for dinner while staying in Jolly Harbour.

short and simple, we ate here twice and would have been there another time but we were sailing, the service was fast, personable, and from aps to dessert everything was five star. I have never been a fan of greek food but it was wicked good!! Our first night we had six people in our group and our second night... More

We stayed at Jolly Beach, room only (thank goodness).Easy walk to this Greek restaurant. Service was excellent. Prices spectacular. Would highly recommend it..very casual. .only disappointment was they were out of Baklava for dessert. .totally bummed me out. Went during high season, so they should have been more prepared. Felt less upset after two delicious Ouzo shots. Would definitely return,... More

The food at our hotel was awful, so we went here for dinner. It shocked us, I mean it is Greek food in Antigua. Expensive but good- dinner for two was $75. We loved the food although heavy! Sat out on balcony and enjoyed our dinner.

This was a change from waterfront venues in the marina. The food was fine but the menu short. Can't see why people rave about it.

A great family run Greek restaurant with specialties, like home made taziki, lamb shank, milk pudding and metaxa ! Greek flavors and hospitality in the Caribbean

This is my second review for this restaurant but I wanted to say that please try it as it has got even better than the last time I reviewed it. The menu is becoming more extensive and the restaurant's outdoor terrace now has a roof cover so diners can now stay outside to dine if it rains, which often happens... More
