Good seafood restaurant if you are patient enough

It's a very atmospheric place with nice sea-theme interior. The food is very good if you're patient to wait for it. We got the starter in 40 minutes and it was a cold octopus that didn't need a lot of preparation.

This hotel was recommended by the receptionist at the hotel. I guess very truistic. The food was quite good. Quantities: enormous Service at the table was very long, waitress had problems with another table and was angry, upset. She tried to keep her smile for other tables but it was difficult. Altogether, the food was not the best. This fisherman's... More

We took the grilled seabass, which was very good. With outstanding potatoes! We had a mixed salad to start with and a bottle of housewine. Perfect meal for a moderate price!

Went to Pescador during our golfing holiday to Vilamoura. They coped really well with our large party and I think everyone in the group was pleased with their meal. I had the Chateaubriend which was particularly nice but quite pricey. Definitely worth a visit.

Very good food and friendly service. Not too expensive. Other reviewers wrote about the quality of the fish not being the best. Still, the food was excellent.

We were incredibly disappointed on our first attempt to visit to realise we had chosen a day when the restaurant was closed at lunchtime. However we returned on the Friday night - 4 adults, three teenagers and had a fantastic meal. The highlight was the sea bass stuffed with crab - absolutely delicious. The restaurant was very good value with... More

According of same reviews about this restaurant is normal food and nothing more. The chef needs 1 thing, go to Sesimbra or Setubal to learn what is good fish. For sure there are more fish restaurants in viana better than this .

Couldn't understand why the restaurant wasn't packed as it was so good. Then realised the football was on in Lisbon! Had it not am sure it would have been teeming. Food was superb, great service and wasn't expensive.

We ate lunch here in early September and the whole meal and restaurant experience was excellent. We do not speak Portuguese and the waiter who welcomed us quickly brought over a member of staff who spoke enough English to explain the menu and take our order - he was very helpful throughout our time there. The menu del dia was... More
