We had a very nice meal here, with a great view of the kittens on the roof across the way. They do not accept electronic payment but the owner was very relaxed about payment the next day when we told her where we were staying.

We had the green eggs which were delicious. The curry duck is very mild. The octopus is light and tasty. Desserts are pleasant. Cocktails are made with care. A good selection of wines at reasonable prices. Service attentive, though anticipate slow fine dining.

If you cannot accommodate someone at your restaurant on a given night, there is a certain level of decency/respect that the potential customer should receive. I know we are tourists, but even still, there is no need to treat people in such a contemptuous manner. We tried to get a table for two here on a Wednesday at 8pm. The... More

This small, hidden restaurant is absolutely magical! My favorite in the city. The food is very delicious. Don't miss it!

The only nice thing about this restaurant was the decor!. Portions were small, food was bland and the waiter was pretentious and overbearing. Left the restaurant and went and found a cafe as we were still hungry after eating a starter and main course. We did not have a desert as we knew we would be disappointed after the first... More

Finding this restaurant really made the difference. I was walking down the street (historical historical center-cannot get more typical) and i noticed the neon saying Cometa and a board on the wall with the specials. I took a look and a very nice waiter invited me to come in. I was amazed!!!! Such a beautiful decor! He asked me if... More

The Onwer's are just lovely people, the staff, extremely polite, they make you feel welcomed, as if you are entering one's Privat e home for a special dinner. The food is just great, the wine, is served in these wide kitchen glasses, wich gives you a contrast with the rest of the decoration, which is so personal, the entres are... More

Have been in Porto already more as 10 times, mostly for business reasons. But finally I found my place where I will return and return and return. Location : just perfect. You would never enter if no one recommended it to you. I came in, on my own, and the nice waitress offered me immediately a drink on the house... More

Cometa is the most amazing restaurant in O'Porto. The food is delicious and some of the best super fresh fish I have ever had. The interior is super cosy and the staff very friendly and attentive. I couldn't recommend it more. A must go when in O'Porto!!!

I have to write again about Cometa as it definitely is my favourite restaurant in Oporto! Every time I come back to Oporto I can t wait to get back and try the marvellous food. They had some works recently and the decor is better than ever. You always find some cool people in a very eclectic group of clients.... More
