So so...

Very close to the apartment we're staying and that's the main reason we went over there for dinner in a raining day. I had the Portuguese sausage and mango sauce. I don't like it very much. It's even more strange to come with a bowl of rice. I had also a vegetable soup, which is very good!! My wife... read more

Normal food, old facilities that smells old not in a positive way. Very expensive. Cigarrets are allowed in a very small place. Very few wine options. Worst restaurant experience in Oporto.

This probably is the first review I make about restaurants in Porto. This restaurant deserves it. I strongly recommend - do not book a table here. Below is the list of issues I identified during 2h of waiting time after sitting on the table: - The doses are usually small, not as at a typical portugues restaurant. - About 1h... More

The food and atmosphere were both amazing. I had the poultry sausage (a traditional dish) with mango chutney, it was original and delicious. If i return to Porto I will definitely be stopping by la Cometa again. This was food to write home about! The apetizer was also great and the wine as well. I would HIGHLY recommend you try... More

Firstly, I'll go there again some day. When we saw this restaurant's exterior appearance, we felt we should find another place to eat. At that time, a black cat which is a resident of there stepped out and invited us. So, we decide to go inside. That was a good choice. Good people, nice food, delicious wines. We had so... More

We were recommended 2 restaurants very close by this one but chose this one on our first night. The service was excellent ( smartly dressed waiters) The menu was interesting and the food excellent and I loved the crockery. You will not be disappointed if you go to this place just up from the main front worth the walk away... More

I came across Cometa by chance on an afternoon stroll. Went back that evening, the place was empty so we were a little unsure but went in anyway. Really glad we did. The food was excellent particularly the duck with Goanese sauce and the octopus. The service was attentive without being over-powering and excellent recommendation for wine. We were the... More

One of the best meals of our trip. Quaint, small restaurant with delicious dishes. Each course was better than the last. Could not figure out why this restaurant was next to empty on a Saturday night, but it is not to be missed! Just outside of the tourist area, but only a ten-minute walk from the main hub. Do yourself... More

My second visit tonight. First time with 5 (guy) friends, and a night way too cosy, intimate and talkative then I would ever admit too. So tonight with the girlfriend, the real proof of the pudding. Verdict: go here! Price is a joke, quality of the food was great and the waiter put in such tremendous effort we seriously felt... More

Nice staff (although a little slow, but he was alone), nice atmosphere, very good starters and main course, desserts were not so good. I used to smoke so I became really sensitive to the smell, it's a turn down when I'm eating and someone's smoking right next to me. I really don't understand why is this still allowed specially indoors... More
