This little restaurant is at the top of a flight of stone steps up from the river, a little way out from the main centre, but not more than 5 or 10 minutes walk - and it is so worth the effort of tracking it down! Wonderful food and wine, reasonable prices, lovely decor and excellent service. The octopus I... More

Located down a little cobble stone street on the corner, the restaurant has a very cosy and welcoming yet fresh and light ambience with its aqua blue walls and collection on knick knacks on the walls and miss matching chairs. The food was okay; portions where small and what you see on the menu is exactly what you get e.g.... More

I spent a nice evening at this restaurant. We ate some ravioli for starters (quite good) and then we had some good octopus with some good, house white wine. And for the end I had a nice lemon pie. The food was nice, the service was impeccable. All served very nicely and poshy. But the rations were very small, specially... More

The Hotel River House 1872 recommended us this small restaurant. We entered the room and after 2 seconds we felt we arrived at home. We're so excited just being engaged on this day.. The waiter and the waitress were extremly friendly and offered us 2 welcome drinks, 2 glasses port wine and wished all the best for our future. They're... More

We had a very nice meal here, with a great view of the kittens on the roof across the way. They do not accept electronic payment but the owner was very relaxed about payment the next day when we told her where we were staying.

We had the green eggs which were delicious. The curry duck is very mild. The octopus is light and tasty. Desserts are pleasant. Cocktails are made with care. A good selection of wines at reasonable prices. Service attentive, though anticipate slow fine dining.

If you cannot accommodate someone at your restaurant on a given night, there is a certain level of decency/respect that the potential customer should receive. I know we are tourists, but even still, there is no need to treat people in such a contemptuous manner. We tried to get a table for two here on a Wednesday at 8pm. The... More

This small, hidden restaurant is absolutely magical! My favorite in the city. The food is very delicious. Don't miss it!

The only nice thing about this restaurant was the decor!. Portions were small, food was bland and the waiter was pretentious and overbearing. Left the restaurant and went and found a cafe as we were still hungry after eating a starter and main course. We did not have a desert as we knew we would be disappointed after the first... More

Finding this restaurant really made the difference. I was walking down the street (historical historical center-cannot get more typical) and i noticed the neon saying Cometa and a board on the wall with the specials. I took a look and a very nice waiter invited me to come in. I was amazed!!!! Such a beautiful decor! He asked me if... More
