Was a recommendation of our hotel (The Yeatman). Went there for late lunch while visiting Foz do Douro and Matosinhos. Nice and stylish restaurant with excellent Portuguese food. Very good value!

Great location at Foz near the ocean in Porto, impeccable atmosphere, tables and service, with top menu. Went several times, always great. A favorite

Cafeína is probably Porto's best Restaurant. It is located in Porto's most prestigious neighborhood. The ambiance is great, the food is excellent and the wines are extremely well selected. I truly recommend it. If you'r lucky enough you might also see some world celebrities.

we were asked whether we wanted smoking or non smoking, a question which in europe has become obsolete. then we found out that next to our table in the non smoking section was the door to a small terrace outside for the smokers . so at each opening of the door, we had a wave of smoke coming in. senseless... Restaurant away from the city center but definitely worth it to go there. A great menu, good wine list. Should be improved service, we waited quite a long time and the service was cool

Mainly tasty Portuguese food with a few international dishes, great value, they even have a cheaper set menu but would recommend choosing from a la carte for more choices, very friendly staff, somewhere to go back to so to try more dishes!

Visited Restaurante Cafeina on a week night having found it on trip advisor during a stroll by the Atlantic. Since it's a block and a half off the actual seaside boardwalk, it's easily missed unless you know it's there - and missing it would be such a shame. Perfectly cooked food presented in a way that would probably even shut... More

If you are in Porto you should pay the visit to this restaurant. Try the bacalhau gratinado, which is superb. Very elegant, but somewhat noisy if large groups are present.

Excellent ingredients beautifully cooked must book but worth it. Food is not expensive and neither are the wines etc.. We had two evenings here and both were most enjoyable and we spent approximately €75 each time including a bottle of wine.
