Really far form tourist are, on the ocean's shore near the Douro's creek. nice view but this is all that attracts in this doubtful place. Awesomely slowcoach and not quite friendly service, food is pretty average. There are not so many places with the view along the nice Porto-Matosinos promenade, but better to refuse from the view in favour of... More

This was my favourite restaurant on the planet and just returned from a visit to Porto (Foz) and saw the remnants of this wonderful place which was totally destroyed by an enormous wave in January 2014. Naturally I was devastated but fortunately no one was hurt when the wave struck. I sincerely hope that the owners, in spite of what... More

Went before dinner nearby and had drinks while watching the sunset. Totally cool vibe, right on the beach and a perfect pre dinner spot.

Spectacular location, just meters from the ocean, great food, good wine selection, impeccable service. The perfect place to share pleasant moments ... Yet, that same natural spectacle which had housed the Shis, that same ocean so suggestive to observe and to listen, swept away the restaurant with its giant waves ... Often, similar overthrows lead to even more brilliant ideas... More

Wonderful location, great food, impeccable service ... I hope that the Shis is active again as soon as possible, for enjoying shared moments in front of a spectacle of the nature.

This restaurant is located right in the Ouriço beach in Porto way too close to the sea. In fact the place was just completely destroyed 3 days ago during the Hercules storm with waves over 15 meters high! Nevertheless the food was incredible and the service very professional. The menu offers a choice of asian based food or very good... More

It "was" an excellent restaurant, but too close to the sea, and on the 6th of January 2014 a storm wave washed the restaurant back into the sea :-( It doesn't exist anymore... RIP

A sushi and fish restaurant perched above the beach. Despite the dark we had some great views of the Atlantic waves breaking on the beach. We both had sushi to start which was delicious. My husband had sea bass as a main course and I had sea bream in a seafood broth. Both were excellent. If you're in Porto this... More

We were not altogether that impressed with Portugese food but this dinner was our best meal in Porto. The restaurant is sleek and modern set right on the coast. Sunset is spectacular (but a bit blinding!)

My wife and I stood at the entrance for several minutes before being offered a table, in which time about 5 waiters walked passed us without acknowledging our presence. Once sat, it was perhaps 15 minutes before our order was taken. The food did take some time to arrive, but 2 out of the three dishes we ordered were missing.... More
